Got a call from this number. I answered the call but didn't say anything because I knew it was a toll free number based on caller ID. They didn't say anything either, but stayed on the line. I could hear other people in the call center talking. I got bored so I took my phone to the kitchen and took out a few stainless steel lids for pots and banged on them as loudly as I could into the phone. They hung up. Thinking about getting a loud whistle for next time. It's a game for these idiots, so I thought I would play along......

Quit (freaking) calling me.  I told him he calls every day.  I'm sick of it.  Stop calling.  Told him I am documenting it here online.  on DNC...stop calling.

This time it was Mark calling.  Are you paying over $60 in electricity bills.

I get a call from this number daily.  Most times there is no one on the other end, a couple times they just hung up on me.  Last night (5/9/12) I answered, did not speak, and waited for something to happen.  

The man on the other end did not know that I had picked up the call, and was mumbling expletives under his breath "mumble mumble This is Bullsh*t mumble mumble", then seconds later said "uh, hello?"

I responded and he asked for my husband by his first name.  I asked who was calling, he said Frank (something).  I asked "from what company?", he responded "American Solar Solutions".

I then told him that I spoke to a marketing representative last night from the same company and told her to remove us from her list and never to call again, and that we were on the National Do Not Call Registry.  

More mumbling, then he said "whatever", and hung up.

Answered the call to be told they were "in the area" and wanted to come give me an estimate.  What for?  Didn't say.  I asked where they'd got my number from as it's on the "do not call" list and not in any directory (that I know of) and the guy said they had lots of contacts.  I pressed for an answer and he abruptly hung up.

ACCCCKKKKKK they just called yet again and very next day!!!  Same stupid info!!!  Tom...don't call again.

Funny! Tell him he is polluting your phone line or he is polluting you with radio frequency waves.  Oh my goodness.  They think they are so educated.  :P

Scott from *something* Solar Solutions.  Oh please do not call back.  I told him we're on Do Not Call list.  Why in the blazes do we keep getting these stupid contractor calls?!?!?!?!?!?!

Received a call today from UNKNOWN using this number.  He was trying to sell me on solar energy.  When I told him we were on the Do Not Call list, he said there are only 2 lists to be on the "solution or polution lists".  I told him not to call again and he replied, "So you want to be on the pollution list"

Keep getting calls from these people.  Asked for my husband.  I asked who it was, and the guy said "Tom" from Solar ???.  I told him my husband had actually passed away and to please remove us from their "list". He said, "Oh, I'm sorry.  Have you actually thought about solar systems?" I told him to stop calling, and hung up.

Unbelievable.

Got a call from this number. They wanted to discuss my curent elec bill. When I told him i work for the local utility company and wasn't interested in his services. He said, "blah, blah, blah, blah" and then kept repeating everything I said. What an a**. I called back and asked for a manager. Was told to call 800 555-1212 which is, of course long distance information. These people need to be stopped. My number is on a Do Not Call list.

The goal, of course, is to get you fired up enough to call the number which will then result in a hefty charge against your phone bill.

This takes the cake.  Someone left a message on my VM and said "This is Amanda, I want to sell you some f****ng solar, bi***".  What??!!  I called back and there was a message saying to call a 900 number.  No thanks.

called today while i was at my desk (about noon).  My habit is just to push the speakerphone button (to stop the ringing) and then not speak to hear if they will say anything or say who they are.

This guy knew my name, but didn't say anything else, eventually hung up - and didn't call back.

This number came thru as BLOCKED on caller ID.  
When the answering machine picked it up, there was a huge amount of static but I could hear sound in the background.  Someone was just making random noises.  It's bad enough when these types of calls come in and are so annoying, but whoever is paying their callers to make the calls, might want to listen in because they sure are not getting their money's worth.

Just received a call from whoever this is. Showed up as 'toll free' on caller ID. They hung up and didn't leave a message. I get DAILY calls now from three or four of these people.
