This is USAA for past due payment notification.  If you don't trust it, just call USAA's posted customer service number.  Just be prepared to stand your ground on your payments.  I am completely current, and have records from the beginning of my coverage to prove that.  However they tried to say I was 3 months past due, but they were really billing me 3 months forward for some reason.  After me going through every payment I've ever made 2 times, the guy's supervisor finally figured out what was wrong and fixed it.  Good luck.

I have received several calls from the 877 529 8790 number few the past few days.  A female recorded voice asks for payment over the phone and gives you the choice to say 'yes' or 'no'. Of course, say 'no' and you will be told to contact your insurance provider directly.  I called the USAA Property Insurance number @ 1(800)5318222 after entering my info I was told I was past due on an account.  So, despite an anonymous and seemingly nefarious lead call, a follow up call to USAA directly will assist in the clearing up of this info.  Never suggest payment to an unknown source.  It seems many of my fellow responders to this page are USAA members and for your convenience I am adding a link to USAA

USAA calling for an employee who has left over 5 years ago.  It was an automated call about their insurance.

Yeah that's USAA. They called me from this number multiple times today to tell me my policy was in danger of being canceled.

It is USAA. They're a pain in the a**. The auto dial system calls non stop until you answer. Only thing I can't stand about them

I am a USAA member.  I have no late bill payments, but I still get these calls.  When I go on-line to USAA there are no notifications waiting for me.  I suspect this is a 3rd party of some sort trying to get people to change their credit card possibly!

This is USAA. They are trying to reach out to you because of a past due payment on your insurance. They cannot keep the calls from coming in until you make a payment on the account to bring it current.

That being said... I forgot to make my insurance payment for my truck. They are calling before they cancel your car insurance!  THEY ARE GENUINELY TRYING TO BE NICE!
Call them back and at least set up an arrangement so you don't get double screwed in case of an accident.

Called and they indicate they are for real? Ha...they said they cannot remove number because they have a ins policy with that number....what a sham!

Received a letter to call thia number...Claims that I won 2 free round trip tickets via US Airlines.  It was signed by a supposed 'Caryn Witlock' who claims to be the VP.  Seemed to be fake, never called.  Judging by the posts above, I too do not have USAA coverage either..

They keep calling me. And based on the info on here; I am not part of USAA insurance. So, I'm assuming its a scammer.

Someone from this number has called my phone 5 times since 10AM this morning.  When I answer, no one is there!!!! Very annoying  to my invalid husband.

This is USAA, they are trying to collect payment which I am currently behind on.  I don't answer though and will call them back using the number I always use. CYA

This is an automated message with a female voice that comes on asking you to verfiy your name. All she does is leave you a message stating an important matter with an account that is overdue. I do get multiple calls which is annoying but it is a legit number from USAA.

This is legit. I this is the insurance part of USAA and one of thier direct numbers.

It is USAA (United Service Automobile Association).  An insurance agency that Provides Insurance for Auto & Home to Military and ex Military folks and their families.  They are calling to inform that payment on one of your accounts is past due.

Got 3 recorded calls per day asking for a person that doesn't exist.. and asking for payment information.  I called the number and they said it would take a few days to remove from calling list.  When I asked why they would have the name of this person associated with my number, they removed my number right away.

I have usaa and this phone number called me claiming to be usaa. They knew my security question.
And they knew what bill I owed and for how much. However, they asked me for my usaa debit information.

Keep receiving calls from this number.

i called back a voice answered and said: something like; how can I help you...I hung up, the lady did not identify herself first by saying; This is USAA, how can I help you!

The people are real c*nts - just ignore the number and deal with usaa directly.

Received a recorded message from someone claiming to be from USAA.  It was a recorded message with no phone number to call back or person to talk to or even extension to call back.

I have been in communication with USAA about my payments, so this has to be a scam.  I've reported it to USAA.
