Calledf my work from an "UNKNOWN" caller ID. Left message said name is Melanie & left a case number. Will not be calling them back since I no longer have any business with Wells Fargo if that is really who they are. Let them go to the "authorities" if they really are legit.

I haven't had anything to do with Wells Fargo for the past 2 years

I am about 7 days late and i need a little more time to make my payment this is the first payment I've been late on and i need more time will they work with me

I have a car loan with these people and they literally harrass me non stop.  I went through a tornado, two family deaths (including my own child) and got behind on my car payment.  Do you think they care? NO!!!  I even told them, yes I am two months behind, BUT I am making a payment every month, and hopefully will get caught up soon.  They don't care.  They call my home, my work and beg me for more numbers to reach me at.  Never ever again will I do business with them,.  They make my life miserable :((

wells fargo  has got to be the rudest bunch of people i have ever tried to talk to...so argumentative, uncaring. told them i was late with payment because my mother died, they told me 'sounds like a personal problem, no reason for you to be late with your payment...did she make your payment?' then, in same call, told me i should ask my mother or father (both deceased, i told them my mom just died, reason for payment lateness) to borrow the money for my payments. they have called me at work, kept arguing with me, would not agree to hang up until i had made payment arrangements acceptable to them.  i had a physician waiting on me. told her i could no longer talk with her, called me a f****ng B**ch! where do they find these people?

MAYBE YOU ARE THE FOOL..OBVIOUSLY YOU SHOULD CALL BACK, MAYBE THERE IS AN ISSUE WITH YOUR ACCOUNT.  THEY WOULDNT CALL YOU IF YOU WERE UP TO DATE ON YOUR ACCOUNT. STOP BEING A FOOL AND CALL THEM BEFORE YOU TOTALLY RUIN YOUR CREDIT!!

they actually call the character references on the application i filled out to harrass them.  And they actually told one of them my social security number back in 2010.  Talk about professional.  I am thinking that is a rather major breach of the privacey laws, but then again Wells Fargo seems to be above the law in the way they do business. Give me a job, I will show you professional behavior, and get the job done.

It is not like we have been going thru a economic crisis for the last four years.  Its not like Wells Fargo was looking for financial help from the government.  Its not like millions of people are out of work.  Its not like wages are going down and everything else is going up.  I have always taken my obligations seriously, and in spite of losing my job, and my husband getting a 20% cut in pay, we have continued to make our payments.  yes we are not always on time, but we keep plugging away, and we are constantly reminded they will punish us some more, with more fees.  IRAs and mutual funds took hits in 2008, wiping out my retirement.  At this point i am completely broke, and my husband has finally gone back to 40 hours a week  for one month now.   I owe less than 1000.00 on my car, but still they call, and threaten to repossess it.  I will not bank with wells fargo again. no I am not worthless, I am a person who lost a job because of political crap in an office.  I can't even find a job to apply too here.But I continue to try, and i seriously hope those people who have been so sactimonious, on the phone from all the call centers rot in hell. they have a horrible attitude and i wonder how they can look at themselves in the mirror. they do not need to be rude, arrogant, use bully tactics, threats.  It doesnt really help the money flow, cause it doesnt come in till payday.

MIKE; I keep getting calls from this number from WF like 4-5 a day and all my car payments are up to date. in fact just set up payment arrangements with them last week. have not intentions of calling this number back. if they read what was on my account, they would know im up to date. fools!

Got a voicemail from "Tammy" on my work phone to call back at this number with an extension. Interesting since (1) I am not Mr. Lee (and my voicemail message says my name), (2) I don't have any account or loan with Wells Fargo, (2) I do have an Asian last name - do they think we are all related?

I so agree with you. Wells Fargo are some heartless MTF SOB's!  They don't care about your situation whatsoever, even if you've been trying to get caught up and discussed the matter with them. They are rude any completely anti-customer service. They act like you are the first customer ever to be behind on your car payments regardless of your honest efforts no matter how long you've been with them.

I WILL NEVER EVER DO BUSINESS WITH WELLS FARGO AGAIN, AFTER I PAY THIS CAR LOAN OFF NEXT YEAR.

They call constantly my office number and leave a message with a phone number to call but do not identify their company or why they are calling.  I see other posts saying it is Wells Fargo but I have never had any business with Wells Fargo and certainly won't now.  Very shabby and shady business practice.

I received a call from this number but we do not have any financing, loans, or accounts with Wells Fargo- nor have we ever. Wells Fargo sucks.

Wells Fargo Auto Finance.  After I called them back, they said they didn't know why they called me, because they don't telemarket from this number, and I don't have an account with them.  The only thing they could come up with is that someone used me as a reference and they were checking the reference.

Asked for someone who did not live here. Left a number to call back.

Called after working hrs. (5.30 p.m.) and asked for my colleague with the bad attitude.  I asked where are you calling from, she repeated my question, "Where am I calling from, why you need to know?...South Dakota".  I asked what is it regarding...she replied with a taugh voice "it's personal business".  

It is from Well Fargo called reg. my colleague's car finance.  I'm quite sure it's illegal to call a business number w/o authorization.  Also, if this woman call to a business place, she then supposed to know better to contact during business hrs and with good business manner!!!

I got a couple calls from this number and another associated with the same people over a period of a couple days. Finally they left a message asking for an 'Emily and Nathan' I'd never heard of. When they inevitably called again, I answered. (The lady seemed shocked that someone had picked up and almost didn't know how to respond after I said 'Hello?') She asked if I was Emily, and I told her that no, I wasn't, and I'd received several calls from this number, but they really had the wrong people. She asked how long I'd had the number... well, since I first got a cell phone when I was about 12, so quite some time now. The lady really was very nice, though, and apologized and said that she'd get the number taken out of their system.

Here's hoping that's the truth. And that some of you who've had rude experiences will get the chance to clear things up with the apparently one nice lady calling from the number.

It is NOT illegal.  there is a reason they are calling him/her at work...They aren't answering at home.  if they don't want calls at work, grow a pair and pick up the phone.  quit being a coward, answer your phone and pay your car payments.  If you don't want calls at work, just say "DONT CALL ME AT WORK".  It's a verbal cease and desist and they can't call after that.  However, that CAN call once a month after that to verify employment and can then leave a message.  they can also call you at work even if there is a C&D to let you know they're coming to repo your car.

we get calls from both of these numbers and don't have an auto loan with anyone! go figure!

Wells Fargo, I missed a loan payment in August due to unforseen medical expenses. I had tried to set up an extension but they needed more information from me to process the extension so I gave it to them. That is the only payment I have missed and yes they do call every month to verify my next payment is going to be made even though I pay before the 17th of every month. I am in the last 6 months of a 60 month loan with them, and this was the only missed payment, the rest have come like clock work. While they do call every month, I have never had an experience with them where they were rude or said anything inappropriate to me and I guess if I loaned a person 30 grand and they were late on a payment, I would want to know when I am going to see that money also.

Unfortunately you are wrong in some aspects.  The law states they are not allowed to call and harass you at your place of employment.  Yes, they can call you at home between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. ONLY, as often as they want, but they are not to contact you at your place of employment if you are not permitted to take calls like that.

Never do business with this company-they are worse than horrendous and violate every FDCPA law that is known.

It was Jason...I will verify he is very rude, I then talked to a Mgr. who was nice and helped me because I was in default and than made payment arrangements.
