Got a call from Peter La Nore saying he wants to buy our time share in Arizona.  He knew how much we paid and offered more than twice as much. Said we would not be responsible for sales tax, commision or capital gains tax, just the $749 title transfer fee.  Didn't get around to asking for my credit card.  I said I'd call him back, but called my Time Share company instead.  They said it sounds like a Florida scam and are checking it out for me.  Peter tried to get chummy, telling me about his children and their upcoming birthday party.  Didn't work for me.

Got a call from Peter La Nore saying he wants to buy our time share in Florida. Public records are available to show what I paid for the timeshare so it didn't surprise when he knew what I paid. What surprised me was the amount he/his company was willing to pay and said that it was negotiable. Leaving me to believe he would go higher. He didn't mention any money was needed up front but did say the only cost to me was $751 for title search and filing of paperwork at closing. I called my timeshare company and found out that there are still timeshares available from them in the week that I have mine. These were much cheaper by almost $10,00.00 than what he was offering me.

If it sounds to good to be true it probably is.

We've also gotten a call from 1-877-541-4777 offering money for property in Colorado.  Joe has asked us to provide money upfront to get the paperwork.  I'm thinking SCAM.  Did you hear anything back from them?

Got a call offering me $46,000 for my lot in Colorado City.  I think it's appraised for about $5,000.  I took their info and said we'd call back.  I think they want money up front to place an ad - so not a real offer of $46,000.
