get their payment information and call the issuing credit card company.  I have called in numerous suspicious card numbers and 100% of them have given me wrong information.  At that point, the issuing holder will put the card on hold.  That allows the actual owner of the card to call into the company for an explanation.

Also "Viking magazine" called me today saying I had been selected and entered into a sweepstakes to win a blu-ray dvd player, and a 55 inch plasma screen tv, the guy mentioned that in order to be a contestant I had to have a full time job or have some sort of income such as disability, unemployment, or ssi. When I asked how he got my name and how i was entered he said the local yellow pages submitted my name... This is a total scam if they call you do not purchase any of their items or give them any information such as card info. They called me from 2 separate numbers one being 1-530-230-9535. And the Second being 1-952-679-3151

pwaltertech@Aol.com Emailed me twice trying to get my to sign up for a secret/mystery shopper job... he then would send me a fake cashiers check and have me buy a list of items from different stores and send him the "work documents" when i was done, and the check would bounce and i would get fined...

I would ask you to please make contact with your local or state police department.  Once you make contact, ask them to contact the LESC (Law Enforcement Support Center in Burlington, VT), on your behalf.  Once they get through to the LESC, ask them to contact Sector & have them send an e-mail to call sign NMA1046.  If you provide these professionals with your contact information, you WILL reach someone who IS doing something about this.

You may have to be persistent, patient, and courteous with the local and state police until an agency has the number and the time to invest, you are looking for.

***Keep in mind, you may run into some barriers along this route...  Be courteous and persistent!  
This is not the standard way to contact someone in my position, however, it IS a way for me to maintain my own professional privacy until I can vet the information I receive.***

Without the support of people in your position, this scammer will continue to defraud U.S. citizens, and major U.S. corporations.

got a relay call frim a "Bill" asking for CAT parts, sent me an e-mail from bbmtruck@aol with the list of CAT parts, continued to e-mail me asking to special order the parts and I continued to tell him that we are not a parts distributor. Sounds fishy when he kept asking for me to special order the parts.

I then told me boss about this and I sent another e-mail telling him that I found his parts and need his infomration in order to set up an account for him (which I am not, just trying to get information to turn in)

Total Scam!

Hopefully he will try to Scam the right person and this will be stopped.

Just Got a call and an email from this same guy-Bill. Email address bbmtrucking@aol.com. Wants cummins turbos and other parts. Scam!!! Good job to ignore it!

Just happened here in Charlotte, NC with the same guy, parts and he used 711 Relay as well.

i got a relay call from this guy  named bill from bbmtruck@aol.comcaterpillar parts  this guy want to buy 12k on caterpillar parts what a idiot  i told him  he need to come in in person w driver licensed ss# and credit card after that never heard  from him again

Just received the same operator assisted call, then the guy sent me a e-mail for caterpiller parts.
I looked up his company on line and found all of these post.

SAME THING, SAME PART NUMBERS...TALKED TO ANOTHER PERSON WHO SAID THEY TRY TO ASK YOU TO BUY $5K WORTH OF STUFF AND ADD A CELL PHONE AND A TV ON THEIR BILL TOO! LOL..SURE THING...WANT A PONY TOO?

Got a call from this guy looking for CAT injectors. I had encountered this when i worked at a dumpy plow shop a few years ago. We didn't do CAT parts and he pushed until I hung up on him. No need for that kinda nonsense. This has been happening for years. I wonder how many times he gets away with it....

I got a Relay call (call using an operator for deaf or disabled people) today from a Jason claiming to work for Harper Diesel in Kentucky. I contacted Harper Diesel & they verified that this is a scam/spam. He uses the fax # of 877-543-9194 & 2 AOL email addresses - harperdiesel@aol.com & pwaltertech@aol.com. I have contacted abuse@aol.com & reported his email addresses to AOL & am posting this information here. He was looking for CUmmins Diesel parts. Please be aware. I also emailed him back letting him know that I knew it was a scam/spam.

Mike is still at it... same M/O - call from relay service requesting Caterpillar and Cummins parts.  He faxed me an order, but I am going to disregard it.  I am always very wary when someone uses a relay service anyway.  All of his contact numbers are the same as reported previously by others.

We recieved a call today from the relay service, Mike was asking us to order over 8000K in Caterpiller parts for him. The same information was given to us as many others... fax number 877-543-9194 Mike with email address at AMMDIESEL@AOL.COM. We have notified the Ohio Attorney General and the Columbus Police Dept. The police dept advised us to collect the credit card payment but do not send the product then turn everything over to the police. The Attorney General is opening an investigation. BE AWARE!

Got a relay message from bbmtruck@aol.com to order parts. "bill"  sent an email with p#'s. After telling him we sold trailer parts only he agreed to pay extra if we special ordered. After i asked him where we were shipping to he said over night them to you and fedex would pick up from us? I tried getting a phone# out of him but could not. MEGA SCAM!!

just got a call from this chump also.  using the same deaf call service.  Used the name anthonybridges@aol.com.  wants me to purchase parts from Catapiller.  What a looser.  Will report him to AOL also.  I wish someone cared about stopping this kind of stuff.  What a shame these loosers can do this with out anything being doen.

We received a fax from a Bill from BBM Truck....address that was given to us was a complete complex address, he gave us no specific suite number.  He would only contact us via email or relay phone call.  Again, it was for miscellaneous Cat parts - injectors, plungers and nozzles.  We are a starter and alternator shop.  He pushed us until we had contacted our vendor who also sells that.  We did procure a credit card number from him but feel very leery about the deal and believe we are going to ignore it.  It's just ridiculous that there are idiots out there doing this.

This guy attempted to purchase CAT parts using a stolen credit card, around $6500-We didn't catch it at first but got a call from the owner of the stolen card and due to just being lucky UPS had not made delivery yet and the parts were returned.

A man emailed us from dcdieseltech@yahoo.com stating he needed Caterpillar injectors. Wanted to pay by a credit card with a Winter Park, FL billing address that had a name that did not appear when that address was checked. Red flag came when he wanted the injectors delivered to our location and he would send DHL to pick them up from us. NO GO! NOT selling to this man!

Just received same relay call looking for Caterpillar parts. Seemed suspicious to begin with but didn't want to be rude. Looked up fax number on here, thanks for the heads up! Towards end of call could here the other person speaking and it totally sounded Nigerian. He ended call kindly of abruptly when I started asking questions. Totally a scam. Just hang up before you get involved.
