We got a call from visa about a charge of 82.31 from Lifeberry in Cypress. We never heard of them and canceled the credit card. Just got my statement for July a charge of .99 and 82.31. I called the number and got a run around. He couldn't tell me my account number or password. He couldn't say why we haven't received the product, but said we would take off the charge. we will see.

Does anyone have an address for the company?
I work for a law office and they did this to me too and I plan on doing everything in my power to get this money back from these total scammers!

ordered this product from the internet called ACAI-BERRY detox, free just pay .99 shipping charge. they charged me .99, .01, 86.42,.69 so far, went to the bank and contested the charges, gave me a paper to fill out and be notorized, get police report,  and bank will refund my money.  cancelled my debit card, so no more charges.
i tried to call this company a whole lot of times, but got nowhere, except one time i got a foreign lady and she quickly put me on hold, and you know the rest.   BE ALERT

These charges are coming from Active.Com, If you have used your credit card to register for a race (running, walk, triathlon) the fine print in the terms and conditions allow them to use your name and how you paid to get free subscriptions/merchandise which they will start billing you monthly. The only way out is to STOP ucing ACTIVE.COM to register close all your accounts, if it was a debit card they will continue to bill your checking account even with a new debit card number. I ve been fighting this going on my second year and it really sucks. They have gotten over $500 from my account with no reinbursement and no help from the banks or web sites. Just stop buying online thats the only way out.

Ditto here. I was on vacation and came home to a multitude of charges. The Fraud Department at my bank and our State Attorney General will be seeing me tomorrow. How have others handled this?

They did the same to us.  The charge was for $89.00 and they won't refund any money and they said they will keep charging.  CLOSE ALL ACCOUNTS immediately so they can't keep doing this and notify the law.

if either of you ordered a free trial of something for the price of shipping and handling only - I suggest you go back to the website and read the terms and conditions..

they rely heavily on the Consumer not reading the terms and conditions.  If you did - you would never process the order.

Usually the terms and conditions are located at the very bottom of the screen on the homepage - it its not there - DO NOT ORDER.
If it is there  -read it before you start processing your order  - sometimes you cannot back out..

They charged my cerdit card without my authorization and they did it before the end of the month causing me to get a overdraft fee on my debit card. Report these crooks to the FBI! They seem to be avoiding being contacted to have them stop charging your bank account! They may be overseas or out of the country. A second fee is charged as the money has to be converted to a forgein currency!
