a nurse supporting Governor Shumlin of VT's idiotic single payer insurance. Wants fellow supporters at the vermont Statehouse Sunday to show their support.  It's enough to make a bulldog bite his chain!  Sorry to say folks, this is not a good thing.

This is one of those companies that does the recorded political messages [push calls] for various campaigns around the country.  It is NOT covered by the "do not call" restrictions unfortunately nor is it restricted to one group or another pushing whatever their agenda is.

Some type of recorded message about clean water. I am on the Do Not Call list so I shouldn't be getting these calls.

Got a call from this number at 10:30am PDT today. It was a pre-recorded political message and I hung up.

This call is from the new Jersey Democratic party advising me via voice mail that the location of this weeks conference in Atlantic City has been changed form the Tropicana hotel to Ballies because there is a union labor dispute going on with the Tropicana.
I dont have a problem with this call except to say I never answer 877 numbers to begin with.

Tuesday, May 10, 1:07 pm...Just got a call...San Francisco Pension Reform. Telling me to answer my phone tomorrow at 7pm. Went to voicemail, since I don't answer calls I don't recognize.

From some friggin' "veterans group" supposedly holding a meeting.

Called today - 2:15 p.m. MDT - did not answer.  Quickly re-dialed the number == no longer in service.

These types of ways of avoiding Do Not Call and every other scam out there are sooooo on my very last nerve.

This number called my elderly grandmother and told her they would come get her and take her to vote if she would vote Democrat-  Isn't that illegal?

I listen to their message long enough to find out who is soliciting my vote, then, I will vote AGAINST their candidate.  Maybe not politically correct but I don't care.

This number gets around. My call was from a Scott saying after much thought he has decided to vote for joe manchin. This is a WV election in replacing robertcbyrd. manchin is the last person I would vote for. Just 1 more day of this nonsense.

Left a message on my cell phone, something to do with Yeson19, vote yes for legal marijuana in California, they said they will call again on Sunday with an invitation to participate in a Q&A forum.

Political cr@p.  One way to lose a vote from me is to constantly call me for my vote.

In my case the caller left a robocall voicemail identifying himself as Norm Stamper, former police chief (he has a website: http://normstamper.com) advising me that there would be another call on Monday evening inviting me to join some town hall meeting to discuss Prop 19 (marijuana legalization).

Since the voicemail mentioned Yes on 19 I'm going to assume that he's for legalization - it would certainly give the cops one less thing to bother about (and the jury's out on whether they'd have a whole load more things to contend with, like hordes of consumers with the munchies descending on supermarkets and stripping the shelves bare of Twinkies, Cheetos and chips and dip).

So slightly annoying but at least it wasn't a scum-sucking bottom-feeding creditor :)

Sadly, yes, they are. Trust politicians to give themselves an "out".

Political SPAM robocall.  Impossible to request list removal.  Calling back produces a message saying that the number has been disconnected or is no longer in service ... did they fake the caller ID? ... or are they faking the "disconnected or no longer in service" message?

In any case, isn't it illegal to robodial people on the national do-not-call list and provide no means for them to opt out?

Wow.  The same number used for several different States campaign candidates.

I got the same message. I am on the Do Not Call list, but still the calls keep coming. A politician that I emailed "to stop calling me" responded-- by emailing me-- to explain that the Do Not Call list does not include political candidates, because candidates are NOT telephoning to sell anyone anything. Yeah, right! So I guess the political candidates are NOT trying to "sell themselves" so that they get the votes. I live in WA and get the VOTER'S GUIDE. The Guide gives me all the information about a candidate that I need. That same politician also let me know that candidates are so busy campaigning that they don't have time to stop at every voter's door and meet that voter face-to-face. (Thank God!) Well, I don't need or want the meet-in-greet; I just want the facts, preferably in black-and-white. I look at it this way: the more a candidate irritates the voter pool through such phone campaigns, perhaps the less confidence that candidate has in themselves and what they have to offer the voters; this may then translate into fewer votes that candidate will receive. Wake up, political candidates! I'm tired of falling asleep during your endless phone calls. After all, it was your incessant ringing that woke me up in the first place!!!

I've received two robocalls from this number today.  One was for the Sierra Club; the other was for a local political campaign.

Got a call in WA State asking me to vote for Rossi. They called my cellphone, which is on do-not-call national registry. I thought it was illegal to robocall cellphone lines, and illegal to robocall lines on national do-not-call registry. If these politicians running for governer themself break the law, what can we expect from these crooks?!

This phone number showed up - I didn't answer.  The voicemail was a recording from Bill Clinton telling me to help Susan Kosmas get re-elected in Florida.

Are these political ads exempt from the "Do Not Call List?"

This phone number is for Ron Kine running on Nov. 2 in Wisconsin.  Annoying isn't even the half of it.  I pay for my minutes on this phone to receive calls and listen to voicemails.  Politicians should not be able to get our phone numbers when we are on do not call lists! Do not call means....exactly that!

Its a political campaign message!  ANNOYING!!
