My parents just revieved the same call about a week ago with the same name and some personal collections agency.  My father passed this information on to me and he gave me that same name.  I haven't lived with my parents in over 2 and a half years.  My father didn't ask any questions about it.

I'm a writer VERY interested in finding out information as to this company. They may be preying on military families. I write for examiner.com on military issues and would like to know if anyone who is in the military has been receiving harrassing calls from this number?

I would be very interested in hearing from military families who have been contacted by this agency. The woman's name is "Sakiah". She claims to be calling from an agency called, "Credit Collections Agency". From what I am told, this type of person uses a very general name so as not to be traced through Google and easily found. I'm researching this group, and possibly others, for an article on their business practices as they relate to military families. One such service member contacted me to say that the amount they were trying to collect didn't exist and that when he called the company to which this woman said she was calling in reference to, they had never heard of her or the company she represents. Not only that, but the business for whom they say they were calling for, doesn't even use this collection agency and this service person's account had been paid in full and there were no debt issues at all. "Sakiah" is working for a front group collecting bank account, debit and credit card information and access. According to the FTC, access to these accounts should NEVER be given to these people or any group like them. If you are a military member and have been contacted from this number, this person or this agency, please leave a message here relating your experience.
