Got a message from Milos saying that my name was pulled from a drawing to win an SUV and that it would be in my best interest to call 877-549-6021 ext. 223 and that he was not a telemarketer trying to sell me somthing. I think its a bunch of bull.

Ms. Anne,

God has been in my life since I was 7 years old. I would not have made it this long without Him actually. I am sorry that you feel this is a "shady business" and you know nothing of our business. What we tell you is exactly what will happen when you get to the presentation. We do send everything we told you in writing so you can take that to you attorney if you do not receive one of those prizes. We have spoken to winners that have went and had a wonderful time and we have talked to others that went and were met with rudeness which we write up a complaint for them. I dont know what else to tell you other than you or anyone else can not affect my relationship with Christ. He knows my heart and thankfully it is not up to others to convict us but to Him who created us. The shame is that we are so quick to judge someone without even knowing them at all. I thank my Heavenly Father for His mercy and grace. If this were a "shady business" I would not be here. Every company uses marketing to sell their products. That is nothing new and will always be the greatest advertisement for a business. It is nothing different than cell phone companies selling you a "free phone" if you sign a two year contract with them. I dont think getting a gift for just sitting down and listening to someone for 90 minutes out of your life is such a terrible thing. You don't have to buy anything to get your gift either. I think the companies are gracious in giving you the gifts they give. Well...again im sad to see these personal attacts but know such is life and makes me even more grateful that My God is a God of mercy and grace.

I can't imagine that Christ would have spent his days engaged in behavior to trick people into falling for a marketing ploy.  You should be ashamed of yourself for using His name to justify a shady business.

This was a bogus marketing call claiming NOT to be a marketing call.  Although they had our last name correct, the first name they used was not for anyone we know -- not even close!

They claim that you are a finalist, and it is in your best interest to call them back.  I would say it is in our best interest to avoid them at all costs.

Saying you are legitimate does not make it so.

Hello Friends,

This is the actual definition of SLANDER and is illegal.  I work at the Prize Claim Center at You are a Winner.  I am writing this in regards to statements posted on 800Notes website.  We are currently developing our own website for clients to visit in addition to setting up a clients appoint to claim their prize we send them everything in writing through e-mail.  We call Qualified contestants and set up their appointments to claim their prize.  They see a 90 min presentation about the company hosting the contest then they go home with 1 of 4 MAJOR prizes.  This is actually the best job I've ever had.  Hopefully our website will be up soon and everyone can visit us their.

Thanks So Much,

God Bless You,

Blake Jones

Once Again,

I am being kind and professional to reply to this statement that isn't true.  I said that I pulled your name as a "FINALIST" from an entry form that either you or someone you know filled out to win an SUV.  I never said that you won the Vehicle.  Now if you would've have went to claim your prize you would have won 1 of 4 MAJOR GIFTS with no obligation's. You would have watched a small preview or presentation of the company sponsoring the contest as long as you were QUALIFIED you would have went home with 1 of our 4 MAJOR GIFTS.  You didn't go, so please don't SLANDER ME.

Thank You,

Happy Holiday

God Bless You

First Off I didn't say you "WON THE CAR" as a matter of fact I said.  I was calling in regards to an entry form that YOU filled out to win a SUV.  And we pulled your name as a FINALIST.  How can you say this is a scam when you never even went to receive your gift??????? Please don't jump to conlclusions giving us a bad name when you don't know what your talking about do a little more research before you SLANDER SOMEONE!!!!

Thanks,

Happy Holidays

God Bless You All

Receive a call from "Blake" saying I'm a finalist for an SUV prize. Caller asks if my caller ID shows his number. I said no, so he give me the 877-549-6021 ext. 223 number. This is a freaking scam.

Terry,

We are gonna take you up on your advice. I do not like to have stress in my office and we get that daily. I keep saying that we need to be prepared for it due to telemarketing having a bad reputation. Which I totally understand. It does upset me to have to defend our company and our name but as long as I know in my heart that I'm being a good witness for Christ there is nothing I need to worry about. God will provide the opportunities. I appreciate your kindness and again I understand. I hope you have a wonderful holiday season Terry!! Have a blessed day.

Sandy, I respect you for being a Christian and for defending your company. Please understand that people generally HATE unsolicited calls. I know me, and I never EVER enter those contests. You can't tell me I did. Have a nice Christmas, and I suggest if you want to avoid negative people you switch jobs.

Terry,

I would just like to add that we have had some finalist call us back and tell us that when they got to the presentation the desk clerks there were very rude to them. We immediately got on the phone to our bosses and told them to please check into this due to us not wanting to be associated with that kind of behavior. We are truly sorry that so many peole have been "mislead" and all we can do about that is make sure that the company that we work for does not do that and if they do we part business with them. We do not know what else to do other than that.

sorry Sir...our company names comes up on the caller ID...lying is not an option. You are a finalist in a contest that yes you did enter and if you ask we tell you exactly where you entered it. We are a third party for a travel club. We do not do the presentation but only the calls for the finalist. So again..please think before posting negative things. We are a Christian couple working a business and will not ever be associated with negative or misleading things. We have actually (myself included) called finalist that went to the presentation to make sure that what they are having us tell finalist is actually true. We have checked into this to make sure that what we are telling finalist is infact true.

Sandy-

You never mention the name of your company when you leave a message. When the 877-549-6021 number, the company is not mentioned. You need to understand how shady that is. Your company is fronting for a "90 minute presentation" of some time share or travel gig. I never entered any contest to win a car, which means you are lying, no matter who "told you to do" it. Bottom line.

We can not call people that are on a DNC list of we are aware of it but when you enter into a contest that asked for all your information you will get calls. There is no way of getting peoples cell phones without you giving that information out on your entry form. If you do not wish to receive gifts from companies that are trying to promote themselves then please stop filling out entry forms. We dont get this information out of the air. You have to submit it. It is very frustrating for us as well cause we are only doing the job we are hired to do and still get ugly people on the phone. Like I said..DNC list only applies to your home number and not information that you willingly give out on the internet. How else would we get this information? We are at a loss about why people are so ugly about taking time out to get a free gifts. My own Mother has done this on several occasions and loves doing it!! Even a trip is a great way to get away when things at work are stressful and need to getaway. Again.....you are smearing a companies name with untruths and this is how people make money and provide for their families just like you.

Sorry..it is not a raffle and that is noone on the message that our people leave. The other free gift you are winning is not an IPOD it is a Blackberry phone and is only offered on certain times. Again..listen to the messages we leave to make sure you are saying the correct information. My husband and I own this marketing company and will not tolerate false information that our employees give out and they are strictly watched in EVERYTHING they say.

Actually we tell NOONE they won a car. We let you know you are pulled as finalist in a drawing. Finalist means finalist..not winner. You have won one of the four major prizes. We have a phone message that we have to read word for word and not anywhere on the message does it say Winner of a SUV..it clearly states finalist. We do not wish to be associated with bad publicity and try to keep ourselves on the up and up by sending out confirmations on EVERYTHING that we have told you on the phone. We are just a marketing company and doing what we are told to do. Please check into information better before posting negative comments about a business. Thanks and have a blessed day.

Received a phone call this evening stating I was a finalist for a Lincoln Navigator as well. Also stated I would have to come for a 60min to 90min meeting and would receive a scratch off to win a 32inch t.v, the Lincoln Navigator, 2,500 cashier's check or 32inch t.v. This sounds like a sales pitch for a time share. My thing is if you won something why would you have to sit thru something and go through all what they want you to go through? This organazation needs to be shut down.

Telemarketer
Received call on my cell phone half hour ago from a company called "Event Planners".   Caller  informed that I was finalist in drawing for a Lincoln Navigator.  I was asked about range of my income level and if I was married.  Caller ID said the call came in on 618-351-4545.

I was asked to make appointment to claim additional prizes at Holiday Inn near Key Bridge in Arlington, VA. Was also asked to also bring spouse along with 2 forms of ID. Agreed to an appointment, but this whole thing sounds fishy - don't recall entering a contest online or otherwise for something like this.

I "Googled" phone number and found this ad in Southern Illinois classified - General Be the first to start. Appointment setters wanted, Carbondale area. Full time. For more info call Sandy 618-351-4545.

Received a call from Milos saying that I won a raffle and was the winner of 1 of 3 prizes (an SUV, Trip, or TV).  If I came in this week I would also win an IPod.  Requested to come with my spouse and bring 2 forms of ID AND a major credit card.  Was told to call 877-549-6021 x 223 to set up an appointment.  I called the hotel that they referenced (Holiday Inn Georgetown), and this company is renting space from them.  Has anyone called?  If so, please let me know what its about.
