Got this txt message from three different numbers over about five minutes:

Have gotten text spam over the weeks, am tired of it.

My phone number is on do not call list.

Did not respond.

Don't respond to these idiots/scammers at all.  If you text stop, they know the mobile number is a good one.  :-(

i just received the same text message. i typically don't reply to messages like these for the sole reason that a response further validates to the sender that there is someone on the receiving end (essentially they don't know who has text options and who doesn't). my mother made a similar complaint that she texted "STOP" to a message like this one yet she was still receiving them. i'd recommend ignoring all spam texts. if anyone else knows of a better solution, please share. i'm trying to be the optimist in assuming there is a more proactive solution.

i am being harrassed by a text message from 877-552-3586 stating i have been chosen to receive a
$50.00 voucher from wal-mart press one and 9.95 will be billed to my phone I think. The number also
gives the option to text stop if not interested I have texted stop each and yet i continue to recive the text messages. It is harrassment.

Got a text today from 315-403-4975 with the following message:  "You have been selected to receive a FREE $50 Walmart Gift voucher. Call 1-877-552-3586 to redeem.  TXT STOP TO STOP"

I get sooooo many of these and they never seem to stop.  There seriously has to be a way to get rid of this.  My wireless company has no way to block these and it is driving nuts!!!

I received the same text 2 months ago. I didn't call or reply and the $9.99 charge still appeared on my AT&T bill. I called AT&T and they reversed it and put some type of protection on my account so those things can not be added. I received the text AGAIN last night so I called AT&T this morning and there is (so far) no attempt to post the charge. My advise is to call your cell provider if you received the text and check your account.

Be carefully with this text when you call the 877-552-3586 it a recorded message telling you about the gift card you won then it tells to press one to redeem which then say it going to bill your cell phone 9.99 monthly,  so just delete the message. don;t reply or call these fools.  just file a complant at donotcall.gov

I received a text too, but from 3479772612, giving me the 877-552-3586 to call to receive my $50 walmart gift voucher.  
I am so tired of these scammer phone calls and text messages.  My phones are on the DNCR, but that does no good.  Sometimes I think that's part of the problem.

Got a text from a different number 1 (218) 917-8244 saying, "You have been selected to receive a FREE $50 Walmart Gift Voucher Call 1-877-552-3586 to redeem. TXT STOP TO STOP"

What a bunch of B.S!!

I've seen these types of texts before, claiming I won a free gift voucher to Target, and one to Applebee's, so I know they're just phishing for phone numbers to clone and/or spam with more texts.

Do not respond in anyway. Just delete them and forget it.

I used to be able to block these types of unwanted texts on my cell (iPhone) but can't anymore.

I send them a text saying
'ERROR MESSAGE PB523 - Your message is UNDELIVERABLE and the subscriber has blocked your number. Message PB523

Received text message to call this number to receive a $50 gift card from Wal Mart.  Did not call number. Googled the number and got this website.  Good thing, I will not call this number.

A text msg that says to call the number to win a wol-mart card...did not respond and this is not the first time.  My phone is on the no call list and I pay for every text and want it to stop.

Got the same message on my cell.  Will file a complaint with National No Call and/or the FCC.

Got text to redeem $50 Walmart gift card to call 1-877-552-3586, TEXT STOP TO STOP.  I read these posts and decided to ignore it.  A few days ago some stranger called my cell phone saying my computer had a virus but he could not accurately describe my computer nor could he state my correct name.  I did not give him the corrected name, I just asked him to not call again.

I got the same thing.  I never responded to it.  Just remember if you Text them back or call them or what ever, then they know that your number is a valid phone number, which will open you up to even more spam calls and text messages..

When you get something like this, always look up the numbers before responding.  If its a scam / spam then just ignore it.

It's a recorded message offering a $50 "voucher" to Walmart, Best Buy, Home Depot or some other big store.... as a member of their exclusive shopping club which entitles you to BIG BIG savings, bleah bleah bleah.

the Hook: In order to get your big big savings and voucher, just press "1" on your phone, and $9.99 will be billed to your cellphone monthly, then an operator will get your details to give send you your voucher, in 6-8 weeks.

same as Nicole- received txt msg...no one every text'd this number before.  Did not call to redeem...probably a robo caller trying to get you to sign up or take a poll.

Came in as a text message from (314)475-4650 and said something about being selected to win a walmart gift card. To redeem, call 877-552-3586.

what a waste of a text message.
