If you wish to avoid these seemingly daily calls, you can set up a Call Blocking for this particular number via Verizon Wireless.  It took me 3 minutes to set this up on line.  You can block up to 5 numbers per cell line.  Not sure if other wireless operators offer same service, but this is a good way to get rid of the 877-570-7711 annoying calls.

IT'S  A COMCAST CONTRACTOR. Not a scam. Just a telemarketer trying to get you to upgrade your Comcast service.

I forgot to mention the "sales rep" had to get his "manager" on the line.  The manager told me there wasn't a contract.  When I told him I wanted a contract, the manager said "Sir, I can explain this deal better than a piece of paper".  I lied and said I was a law student and that I wasn't doing anything without a written notice.  The manager was quite eager to end the phone call.

Said they were Comcast and called to promote some "Blast Pack Plus" package.  When I asked them what package I currently have they couldn't give me an answer, they just said they were the promotional dept and didn't have that information.  When I prodded for more information about "Stream Pix" (which is included in the Blast Pack package), they could only tell me that it was just like Netflix.  i asked several times what was Stream Pix, every time the do***ebag on the phone would say, "it's just like Netflix".  FOLKS, THIS IS A SCAM!

Very annoying. National Do Not Call not working apparently.

I've been getting called by this 877 number for 12 days now. I just called Comcast (1-800-934-6489) and they said it doesn't look like it was them and they couldn't see any reason for them to be calling me. They said if enough people call and complain about the phony number and ask for the complaint to be logged then it will become a priority and be looked into. Please call the legitimate Comcast and file a complaint if you are having problems. I'm also going to talk to the police about filing for harassment and talk to some of my lawyer friends. This is not acceptable.

I have been getting calls from this number sometimes 2 or 3 times a day.. they never leave a message, when I answer, they hang up. I tried calling the number and they answered Comcast and had my caller ID so they had my name. They said they had been trying to call with special Comcast offers. I recently disconnected my Comcast service. I told them to put me on thier no call list, he said that it would take 30 days!! What a crock...

Multiple calls this week. No VM, and when I pick up it just disconnects.

Couldn't even spell or pronounce my name.   It's harrasing.

Been going on for weeks, a daily call from this number.  Now today, they called twice.  It's become a battle of wills.  Don't they get it? After 10, 15, 50, 100 tries, I'm not going to answer a number I don't recognize on my phone.

Wish there were a reporting agency that could investigate and make it stop.  And I know, once this number stops calling, another will take it's place.
