Hi everyone.
I'm glad that I did a search for reviews and came across this site.  I also got a call from Matt - Auto Marketing Systems.  They kept insisting that they had clients in my area that are interested in buying my car and the pricing was what they were willing to pay.  You know what they say, "if it sounds too good to be true then it probably isn't."

Thanks for the insight.

Ok so what do I do here? I have a 2000 Chev Silverado extended cab with 1 suicide door, heavy duty tow package with  4.8L engine for sale. The motor doesn't work and the body is rough. If I had more time and $ I would put another engine in it cause it's a good truck otherwise. If you guys know anyone that wants to buy it that would be great.

I received two calls from Matt at Auto Marketing Services wanting to help me with the sale of my two vehicles on Craigslist, so I finally called them back. They told me they had a very high volume of buyers for vehicles like mine who have been pre-screened and are legitimate.  They also guaranteed the sale of both my vehilces within two weeks. I priced both my vehicles (1998 Nisan Altima and a 1997 Ford E150) to sell quickly. I got an offer the first night, but the offer came from Chicago and I live in Ohio. I called the 1-877 number because I was concerned that the buyer was a fraud/scam artist who made an offer on both my vehilces. The only advise they gave me was to e-mail the buyer, which I already did, and see what if they reply...the buyer never replied. I will give it a little longer because they told be they already had buyers in their databanks who are looking for vehicles like mine, but if things don't pan out I will contact my attorney for advise. I will keep you posted.

My husband received this call - the are very friendly on the phone, but after doing more research, it is TOTAL scam.  Do not give them your credit card number. Look up "Longwood Industries Reviews" in google and you'll get a great list of all the people who have fallen for this.  Not cool.

Hello everyone, I?ve read all the posts and find the replies from Paul rather amusing.  This would apply to the telephone numbers 866-326-0949, 800-430-1965, 877,572-5714..

Paul, who is actually the owner of the company, Bryant Cass, sits in his office all day scouring sites like this pretending to be some low level employee.  All of their companies have such bad Internet blogs that they must try and do damage control, which explains all his recent posts.

?Auto Marketing Systems? is also thebiglot.com, autohopper.com , et al and all owned by Adventis, Inc. based in Roanoke, Virginia.  His other business partner, and brother, is Mason Cass.  I would contend that Messrs. Cass do not like to be called and hung up on.

Adventis does not ?buy? leads at all ? they simply have computers that pull numbers off the Internet, load them into their automated dialers and continuously call people all day long.  Their business model is predicated on leaving a message because they know this type of service does not sell well cold calling.

This explains why many of you get hung up on ? the system hears you answer and then it disconnects.
The model of these clowns is simply ? charge a fee, make a refund policy extremely difficult to follow and hope that a)Not many people apply for the refund and/or b)Make it difficult to ?qualify?.

Let me again state that any notion that this company purchases leads is purely nonsensical and fraudulent advertising.   Their website(s) get very little web traffic and they only consumers who shop on their website are customers that end up buying their service ? which amounts to not much web traffic.
Further, Adventis does not sell hardly any cars via their website.  I would estimate that out of 1,000 vehicles placed on their website less than 3 get sold due to their service.  Adding to their poor sales record, Messrs Cass know nothing about car values, car selling trends, buying/selling or the used car market in general.  They are counting on your naiveté? I hope this explanation keeps many more from becoming victims.

We all get emotional about selling our vehicle, but the best places to sell your vehicle these days remains AutoTrader (the highest trafficked website), eBaymotors, Cars.com and traditional print classifieds.  You may also do better advertising your vehicle in a larger market, but rest assured, if you spend $200-$400 with Adventis you will not sell your vehicle due to their service.

I?m sorry Mason and Bryant Cass, but Adventis, Longwood  and your methods of extorting money from the public must be made public knowledge.

-Your former #1 Sales Agent.

I sold mine and Mera helped me too.  2000 GMC Yukon that took 4 months to get 1 call through Auto Trader got sold in less than a week with their service.  She also let me know that I was underpcied and I put it up for about 2k more and got it!

I got a contact from this company and talked to Mera Rose too.  She's a very nice girl who seems pretty knowledgable about most cars.  I've been in the classic car fix-ups for a while and she really seemed to know her stuff.  I listed my 72 Chevelle which I had originally thought I could get anything for and it sold within 16 hours for about twice the price I was asking before I listed with them...  They're a legit service, and one that seems to work pretty well.  I'm going to use them again when I finish fixing up my Z28 in the spring...  Just FYI.

I got the same call & ignored it at 1st. Then I got it again a few days later so I decided to call back. I was offered the same thing so I looked into it. From what I could tell they were a real company. I checked w/ the BBB & they are registered w/ them with a satisfactory rating so I decided to give it a shot. I registered my car w/ them early this week & I got 3 calls on it within 2 days. 2 of them are supposed to meet me to look at my Honda this weekend. I'll keep you posted.

Yes - on our Craig's List, Chico CA, vehicle ad - the caller (Mera Rose) wanted $195 & our credit card number ("debit or credit?") & said we should list our vehicle for $4000 instead of $2500.
