got a call from a guy named Sean who had a very thick Indian / Pakistan accent saying he was calling from Windows Technical Support and that they see a very bad virus / intrusion in our network system. I told him he would have to call our IT person and gave him the number and he said no it can't wait it has to be taken care of immediately.  I asked well what is it you want me to do and I hurried and said without giving him a chance to answer that I would  have to take his number and get back with him because it was lunch time and short of help and hung up and called our IT person and informed him who called Microsoft who said it's a scam call.  Do not give these persons any information!

First I recieved a call about a month ago from a lady that states that they were going to file charges against me.  That I owed a payday loan from and online company.  The name of the company I was suppose to be owing was Ten Dollar Payday Loan.  This loan was suppose to be taken out in 2007. Tried to verify information with her, and couldn't give me correct birthday, and couldn't tell the account this was suppose to be drawn on.  Stated didn't have that information that she would have to get it from the original company.  Stated the amount borrowed was 450.00 but now the amount owed was 1650.00. but she was going to settle with me for 650.00.  Otherwise they were going to take me to jail.  I hung up  with her.  Then two weeks ago a man name Mr. Rosstein called and left a message on my daughter's phone that he was processor in the area, and he needed to confirm my address so he could serve me at home or my job. He tells me to call a 866 number.  Then the next week a Rebecca Snieder starts to call.  She call me on my cell, home phone, my both of my daughter's cell phone numbers.  Stating that a claim is being filed against me and that she needs to verify address so she can serve me at my home or work and first she leave this number 877-577-3830 for me to call for mediation.  Each call she states that I have been notified.  Then yesterday she calls me at work and states she has spoken to my supervisor, and asked had he given me the message.  Then leaves number for me to call 888-850-6626.  This is the same company, but changing the number.  Because so many have filed with the attorney general on the 877-577-3830 number.  Then she called me this morning stating her field agent are coming out to serve me at my address, and if I have any question to call the mediation office at 888-850-6626.  If I am going to served, they need to serve already and stop with the calls.  I called my lawyer when they called me at work.  He called them, and stated them that if they continued to call me at work he was going to sue them.  I will keep everyone posted on the outcome of this.  But so far the only name to this company the I have gotten is Lincoln something.  They don't try to say their name clearly on purpose.  The calls are coming up private caller.

Look for David Carr lpar llc he took out the license in culver city fictitious business names in 2010 will give more info tomorrow after I speak to the city attorney in culver city .

Called today and left message on answering machine.  Problem is they are calling my home for another family member not me and he does not live here.  He is a full grown man with a family of his own.  The caller ID said private caller this time.  Callers name was Philip Johnson.  He left personal info that I have no right having. He even left a claim number.   He expects me to get in  contact with him with info instead of him doing it himself.  AS IF I WOULD.  I can´t anyway.  At the end of the call he stated that he was officaly notified through me.   These people need a class action law suit against them!

Received call from April Sanders stating that I have claims and charges pending and that i should call  the mediation company to confirm my address and employment information.  No charges or claims pending against me since bankruptcy was filed 7 years ago.  Nothing but a scam to scare you into sending them money for a false claim they dreamed up,  Don,'t fall for the banana in the tailpipe trick.  Soooooo Sad these criminals.

I just received the same type of phone call. Can you tell me what your Attorney has said to do. They are using my madian name which I have gone by for 10 years. I told them today to quit calling my numbers.

I got a call today and they also left a VM on my mother's cell phone. The company name stated was "Lincoln Park". Not sure how they got it. Anyway they are telling me I owe on a Payday Loan from Bahama Marketing which in turns has about 35 additional companies it owns. I advised I need to know the name of the company the Payday Loan was "supposedly" taken out. They couldn't tell me that information. Then told me I had to go look online for the number to Bahama Marketing. So after searching I found a number that is NOT valid. They were not useful, but I got another call from a "Claims Processor" who wanted to confirm my address, but yet DID NOT DO THAT. She instead providing me a case number and phone number for this "Lincoln Park" company. At this time I have already contact my attorney. You can't sue me or attempt to and NOT have the original paperwork from the loan, and you don't know WHICH company the loan was taken out. This smells like a SCAM! So at this point I will leave this with my attorney.

I received a message stating that a distant relative had filed a claim against me in a lawsuit. The name Jennifer Baily was mentioned.  They want to verify my address and place of employment.  I had to call this number for my one chance of mediation.  On the same day, another relative of mine was called by a debt collector trying to collect for the same person.  I think this is debt collection scheme and i won't be calling them back.  Jan 18, 2012

If they have your phone # and are a legit business, they have your address & your place of employment.  have been calling me & my daughter very abusive calls.  I have gotten my lawyer involved. Don't give them any information!!

got 2 messages in one day from these people. said they needed to verify my husband's address in reference to a "claim" and gave a claim number.  when we called back and asked who they were (no identification--other than the caller's name--was given) we were told "lincoln park mumblemumblemumble".

Same thing here, they have been leaving threaten messages on my cell phone and also called my job. I am contacting the attorney generals office

I am getting the same call.  They say they have charges against me.  Saying they are going to show up at my place of employment and serve me.  I only got one name called Mediation.  I had to change my cell phone number cause they kept harrassing me.

The caller left no name or company name ... very vague but trying to sound official.   Stated that I had been "served" and was required to foward information to them regarding an adult in the family.

877 577 3830 reverse look up gives no information from any source ... did call the number and got some company who has name "mediation" in their name ... operator talked so fast was not able to clearly understand her ...

Searching for scams shows this number and a lot of calls in the same manner ...if this persists and can not identify the caller more clearly will contat offices of attorneys general as need be

A Jennifer Baily left a message yesterday, and again today in refrence to another female P... S... also known as P... B....  Yesterday she stated there were charges and a file claim against PS. Today she stated there are charges in a file claim against ME with the same claim#. She wants to verify an address for service of process to my residence or place of employment.  I have no idea what this could be about.  She did not say any company name.

Someone left a msge on my vmail talking about a debt. The person that left the msge was hard to understand.
