I have an add in auto trader as well. this may be why this number is calling me frequently. not really sure but there is never anyone on the other end of the line when I answer the call and there is never a voice mail when I don't answer it. GO figure!

I placed an auto "for sale" ad on Auto Trader.com about one month ago. Now receiving a call from this number about every three days. I don't answer and there is no message is left. They don't seem to be giving up. Next I will answer and asked to be taken off their call list.

BBB is a toothless tiger, absolutely useless. They are just a datagathering/complaint dept, have no enforcement power over anything. The main thing they tout is "membership" lol. But they are like the Mighty OZ, just a little guy behind a big curtain. Save your time.

Why not just setup a google number when selling a car? It's free with google voice and you can shut it down after you sell it. This way they don't get your real number and you can complain less (less stress = better life).

Sick of useless auto trader....they used to be reliable and respectible. All I get now are sales people wanted to sell the car for me....guess what auto trader, I already stated in my second advertisement that I no third parties should call or respond.

I have a car for sale online, and they have been calling me 3 times a day ever since. So, what I did was give them a personalized ring of MUTE. This helps the annoyance from that one number.

I get a call from this no(877 579 7780)every morning at 10am. no one speaks. now when i search on google i found that its from autotrader. I have a car on sale on cars.com. but why the heck are they calling me and no one speaks.
