Just received a call from this number but they only left a name and not a business identity. Assuming it's a debt collector.

To Jess -- Are you really that ignorant? People don't simply stop paying their bills because they don't feel like paying. Most people don't pay their bills because they can't. Plain and simple. Bill collectors can call until their fingers go numb, it doesn't change that fact. In this economy, most people who fall into collections do so not because they are deadbeats. Some, like myself, lost their jobs in a bad economy, went through a divorce, lost their houses, and couldn't carry the credit card payments anymore. Some experience unfortunate medical bills. Spouses pass away. There are a number of reasons.  So keep your judgements to yourself and be grateful that you clearly have not experienced tragedy that would turn your life upside down and render you incapable of paying your bills.

calls several times a day left one message.

Constantly receiving calls from this number.  Have told them in past that this person does not live here and is out of work having been laid off from yet another job.  The person this number is calling for is my child who has had a rash of bad luck with work.  Getting a job, getting laid off, etc.  
This company is relentless.
Yes, for the smarty mouth who wrote that people should pay their debts, I agree but I do hope you never have the misfortune of losing your job due to downsizing or that your trust fund (you must have one) never runs dry.

Kathi- If they have the wrong number maybe you should try calling them back to let them know instead of wasting your time posting it on random websites, this way they will no longer call you...  just a thought.
Yep- (if that's your real name, doubt it though) I'm guessing the voicemail said to return the call to his office...  as in you should call him back...  not that he's returning the call to his own office, cuz hat just makes no sense
Jessica- First off I like you simply cuz we have the same name...  but How does the name Max Rosen sound at all fake?!  Should he be named Harry Pitt, cuz that sounds fake and I actually know a man by that name.

Yes he probably is a debt collector...  so my advice to you is to either pay your bills or be expecting a call from Max or any other debt collectors in your future :)

Leaves a nasty msg for the different person. Obviously doesn't listen to phone message greeting. No one by the name Max Rosen is calling for lives at my address. Also, get placed into an Eric's vm.  I don't appreciate getting collection calls for a wrong person! Do their homework before callilng innocent people!
