I got a call from some person who said she is with the state department then she gave me this number to call for south west 1-888-252-3773 and told me that I had charges against me and that I will have to meet court.  Upon questioning her she got an attitude and hung the phone up.  I called south west they also have very RUDE people who will hang the phone up in your face.

Southwest Mediation Firm,  do not provide this guy Johnathan Baker or anyone else from the collection agency any of your personal information.  They use threats and intimidation to get you to tell them where you live, your personal information to make you pay money without providing any proof if you actually owe the debt.  This a***ole for three weeks have been calling my job, even speaking to my co workers trying to get them to give him information about me, since I work in a small office I can hear the conversation, basically my co workers tells this guy to either call back or leave a message or just send him to my voicemail.  I have filed complaints with the BBB and the Arizona Attorney Generals office, the next step is hiring a lawyer because this scumbag calls my job at least 5 times a day. (I have caller ID at work)
PS.  They cannot tell you over the phone that they are going to sue you, throw you in jail, send a process server etc.  All lies. I suggest you read the Fair Debt Practice Act on debtors rights, keep record of how many times this company calls and complain, complain complain until they are stopped.

Yes, I just check my messages and had a rude call looking for my son's addresss so they can styart action against him. I haven't talked  to my son yet but it sounds like a scam. Anyone else get this call?

They called my gusband today and said that were being sued by a payday loan company for writing a bad check. They said if we dont make a 25% payment and make payment plan they will serve me and he will be charged. they say that there a mediation company call south west but when i asked for a email address or an address of there business they said they cant give that out because they get threats. i dont know what to believe about this place i dont want my husband to be takin to court but i dont want to give money to scammers. They also said that they only do business over the phone so that kinda gave me a warning sign plus when i called i got disconnected i called back and the guy said sorry his internet phone is acting up that also gave me a red flag. when i questioned him about things he got an attitude with me and forwarded me to the manager. If you find anything out please let me know.
