Here's what to do.  Contact either your State's Attorney General's office or your State's Department of Finance. These agencies are located in the capital city of your state. Record all of your conversations with them and try to get the name of the company.  Also log/save all calls left on your answering machine.  I realize this takes time, some may not have.  Next call them after hours so you get THEIR answering machine.  State you phone number only, NOT YOUR NAME.  State that they are required to cease & desist of any additional calls.  You will report them to the your States Attorney and BBB.  Record your call doing this. If you do owe a debt or not, their practices are not legit.

This caller is a debt collector.  When you fail to pay off a debt, the balance is sold to a debt collector for them to try and collect.  I have an old payday loan that was sold to 2 different collectors and now these idoits at 877-614-7454 are trying to use the same illegal tactics.  If anyone can get some information on the name of this collector we can send a "cease and desist" letter to stop the harassing calls!

The above number 1 877 614 7454 called my work saying they have papers for me to sign. Claimed they was the sheriffs office. If I wanted to avoid being arrested and taken to court I need to pay 2 payments of $697.75. When I said for what? He a Mr Carlos casin claimed I already knew what for! Real jerk...I hung up on him. And called sheriff's dept. Nobody by that name works there.

I received the same call this morning on my voicemail from a process server from a Brian from Prince William County I got the same information that I can stop the process by calling this number otherwise they will be at my home and or office between 1 and 3pm and I need to have two forms of ID. But when you call the number It sounds like a regular house number. I have been caught one time before and I knew I owe money for  a credit card and they had all my information so I paid them and put the money on a pre paid card about a month later I got a call from the credit card company stating the same thing but when I told them I gave my money to someone else on their behalf they had no idea who I was talking about but it happened to many other people and they just asked for the information. Be careful who you are paying if they say they are calling as a debt collector call the company direct and if anyone finds out who these people are please let us know.

Got a call from this number telling me she was a process server and was coming byy home and/or work to serve Me with documents that need my signature but if I want them postponed I need to call this number.   I am reporting them because I have no clue who the hell they are. Her name is Mrs rogers
