this is a total scam. They said I have two complaints against me from July 25th. I must contact them using a case number they gave me. They are going to come to my house and failure to comply will result in jail time.

They used a name I had about 16 years ago prior to a divorce. They are scam artists, don't let your self be pulled into this. I know I have done nothing wrong. They play on peoples fears.

This number called me twice calls himself Mr. Harrison saying I owe on a payday loan from two years ago. Don't know what he is talking about he can go bleep!! Himself what scammers loser

This company has been threatening me at work,they are a fraud.Please do not give into them,they are fakes,just trying to rip off the world.

I just got the same message FROM MY PARENTS (they called them).

Called again and they said they are coming by on May 12th between the hours of 11 and 5.  I need to have two forms of state issued ID and a witness above the age of 18 or a supervisor.  I've never known a process server to call you first to say they are coming to see you and give you a date and time.  I know that they are just full of it and are only trying to scare me.  It amazes me the things they say to get people to pay them.  They are horrible.  Just a bunch of liars.

DO NOT GIVE THEM one cent unless they produce a legitimate WRITTEN document stating the debt.  Since it has been ten years, I would check your state's statute of limitations for cases like yours.

My daughter receiving a call from this number. 877-618-3036 at 6:02 pm today 5-1-2014. on my phone. saying she had a bad check from 2004. that she had payed. but she own interest on it. and that owen county clerk"s office (sharon clones) was going to come out.tomorrow and talk to her about her court papers that they had.and they want there money.she own for the interest on the bad check.they had her- SSN, DATE OF BIRTH, ADDRESSES, AND HER BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER. and my phone number.she had my daughter in tears. .

The Internet Crime Complaint Center has received many complaints from victims of payday loan telephone collection scams. Callers claim the victim is delinquent in a payday loan and must repay the loan to avoid legal consequences. The callers purport to be representatives of the FBI, Federal Legislative Department, various law firms, or other legitimate-sounding agencies. They claim to be collecting debts for companies such as United Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Net, and other Internet check-cashing services.

According to complaints received from the public, the callers have accurate data about victims, including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, employer information, bank account numbers, and the names and telephone numbers of relatives and friends. How the fraudsters obtained the personal information varies, but in some cases victims have reported they completed online applications for other loans or credit cards before the calls started.

The fraudsters relentlessly call the victim?s home, cell phone, and place of employment. They refuse to provide any details about the alleged payday loans and become abusive when questioned. The callers have threatened victims with legal actions, arrests, and, in some cases, physical violence if they do not pay. In many cases, the callers harass victims? relatives, friends, and employers.

Keep receiving phone calls from this number from a Ms. Roberts she is threatening me non stop about a pay day loan.  They been hitting up by credit score.  I have been threaten a process server will come to my home.  Asking questions about a dog and a gun.  This is crazy they found my sons phone number in NY and are now bothering him.  How do I put a stop to this.

These people are a JOKE!  Just called me and said that they will be coming to my place of employment or to my home and that if I have firearms or dogs I need to put them up.  Sorry, I do have dogs and a firearm.  The firearm belongs to my husband, a FEDERAL AGENT with the FBI.  So, come on by!

received call today @ 9:06 saying that his name was tom Jones and he was a litigation arbitrator and they were going to send some one to my place of employment or home to be served and that I need to contact them as soon as possible and to call 1-877-618-3036 ext 417. again very funny please find something better to do with your time really people get a life!!!!

i got a call from this person amy smith  gave me the toll free number and they switched me to some one in the back and they said they were send paper to me i know  the county   court house is not a toll free number

I got a call from AMY SMITH... Just the name sounds FAKE!! Saying she is an investigator & she is coming to my door on a certain day, to issue me papers & I have to pay or I will face jail time!! So I googled the number & here we are!! I have dealt with these types before, not sure if it is the same people or not, but when I told them I was calling my Lawyer, the calls stopped!! What does it take to get these people to stop?! One time, I spoke to someone & they told me I owed over $1,000 on a payday loan! I have never even done a payday loan!! lol.. When the guy said he will call the Loan Mart, the guy at Loan Mart could not even find me in his system!! So that right there showed me FRAUD!!! I am notifying the FTC!!! Anyone who gets this same call should, too! Let's shut them down!!!!

I got a call from this CRG Associates.  They said I will be getting court paper for civil court.  I ask for information about some loan for Quick payday loan.  I didn't get it. The first person called an said his name was Chris Stevens,  Not amonth later it is Brian.  I was stupid enough to give them my credit card information.  Two later I got a call from my bank because someone was trying to make an unautherorized charge to Newegg.  I am taking this information to an attorney.  They call me everyday at least 4 times aday.  Today I was told they are waiting on an appearance date for civil court.  

I received a call from this number.  Todd Jones was the agent I spoke to at Ex 417.  He really helped me save a lot of money on a bill I was having a hard time with.  

They called from an "unknown" posted number in the caller id...and say that the issue involves identity theft in lieu of a debt to be collected...Shame, shame!

This call/voicemail was left on my telephone from Todd Jones....the call was for someone other than myself!  He said "He was from CRG and that the call had to do with possible identity theft...it was strange because he said that he had the individuals social security number...any way I called him back at the number he left to let him know that the number did not belong to the person he was looking for and not to contact again..

These people are insane!!!!! They somehow run your credit and call anyone that is affiliated by you to try to get ahold of you. They scare people you know and tell them your ss# is being investigated as a stolen identity? PLEASE!!!!!! Quit bothering people!!!! I have no outrageous owed debt out there... Trust me , I would know. Anyway,  I called 311 and filed a harassment complaint.

They can't send someone over to your house to collect or threaten to take you to court, garnish your wages, and even file against your taxes is very illegal if it has not gone to court....so do what I do I let them scream all they want as they eat their food in the phone and I hang up on them....if they call you back its in violation of the FDCPA and you can file a lawsuit against this company and be awarded $1000 for each violation. So the next time they leave take it to an attorney and see how many violations it has and file against the company....I did and I am sitting pretty; even got back the money I paid Cornerstone Resolution Group for a loan that has been out of stat for quite some time! Good luck!

Don't pay these people, they are scum of the earth ghetto a** people who work at this collection agency threatening people with their taxes and filing a 1099C Form to withhold your taxes....ask for proof of that and they don't have it! If anyone has paid Cornerstone Resolution Group, located 247 Cayuga Rd, Suite 10, Cheektowaga, NY 14225, and they took your money within the last 6 months get it back. Get everything in writing that they are threatening you with and what you will receive is a letter....a collection letter verifying some kind of loan you took out in 2003.....really! These people don't have a clue, record them and play your recording to your attorney, attorney general and the BBB....this place should've been shut down years ago with their scare tactics they want you to think might happen; as well know are not true...."now whats your 16 digit credit card number so we can stop the withholding of your taxes and so I don't have to issue the 1099C Form" as Sallie Mae White has told me, as I didn't give her the information she got mad and started talking fast and she hung up. They called me saying they were going to come to my house at a certain time in 2 days to force me to give them money. I have no clue what this is about, they didn't say.
