same thing happened to me

I got the same message as Chris, only the text came from 347-440-9641. Considering the multiple 341- numbers, def. looks like a large autodial scam. This is the first time they've texted me... so far.

Garbage! Some middle eastern sounding person answered the phone and when on about casting extras in movies and wanted to charge $1.98 to post a picture.  Stupid scammers!  I told him I can get my porn for free online.

You are lucky, my texts cost me $1.20 each, since I am not on a texting price plan(I am not a texter).
These scammers sent me this text 3 times today. So much for the government's no-call list...
I work in the movie industry and there is no such thing as an extra making .... up to $300 a day... total bullshi t, more like $42 for a 12 hour day of mostly waiting, and waiting, and they might use you for about 12 minutes, then you may not make it to the final edit. For the producers it's a cheap way to have bodies around the set, just in case they need ... atmosphere (extras)... for a scene.
Getting work in the movie biz, no matter what side of the camera you want to be on... is about 15% what you knwo and 85% who you know. be ready to kiss a/.s.s... the producer in Motorhome #4 is doing couch-casting this week, and you don;t even have to to=ext him to get an ... audition... LOL

It's people like you who are stupid enough to reply that enable these scammers to stay in business.  Assuming you're not trolling.

Please read their DISCLOSURE info thoroughly. They basically tell you they have the right to keep and track all your information --both personal as well as sites you go to on your computer, etc.

I did call this number out of curiosity.  Their website is www.casting360.com.   It costs $1.98 to post your picture to their website.   Casting agents pull from local area code lists for extras in movies that are being made in your area.

I got the same text saying the same thing from 3478639637 saying to call 8776277687 or text STOP to get them to stop sending texts.

I'm not texting or calling because I'm so thoroughly positive this is a scam . . . but it's really irritating getting these texts and not being able to do anything about it.
