Me too they call me million time i am so mad next time i going kill them

I was out of town for a funeral and forgot to make my car payment through State Farm. Not sure if it is collections or just a friendly reminder because there was no message, but I had just made the payment a little while before and it must not have shown up on my account yet.

people should be nicer - I got this number to call me too and 1) I have 0 accounts with anyone past due 2) I have 0 accounts with state farm so your commenting about it's their collection dept and you should call them back and cars are being confiscated is at best inaccurate.    I google the number and get nothing worth while to say who it is.. figure it this way, if you do not know a phone number, you have no obligation to answer.  

Well what if we don't have any business with State Farm you asshat ? No loans, no credit cards,  no nothing.  What then Mr.  Wizard?  What if they are calling a kid's phone?  Tell us oh Internet anonymous big shot.  Duh durrrr duhh

State Farm bank.  If you missed a payment on your car loan, its them letting you know.

Calls daily.  When you answer it clicks and hangs up.  We don't have state farm anything.

I've been getting calls too.  We don't have a loan with State Farm and our Insurance is up to date.  I believe this must be a scam!

This number is a SCAM they told me they were from State Farm and that we are late on a loan payment...not true...do NOT give them any information...

That # is for State farm Bank Response Center. I work for SF collections and if your account is past the 10 day grace period, and contact the BRC, the BRC will transfer you to us. You obviously don't work for SF Bank or else you would know this.

This # is from State Farm Bank Collections. Your agent won't call you as they are a private contractor with State farm Insurance (two seperate entities owned by the same parent company).  If the call is dead air, please wait. They are transfering you to a representative. The cost of having live people call the thousands of delinquent accounts daily would be astronomical and this cost would be passed onto you-the consumer. If you do not have an account with State Farm-call us back and tell us. People list numbers down as their contacts and fail to update them when it changes. we can't change it unless you inform us that it's a bad #.

This number is a scam. They are phishing.  The number for State Farm Bank is 1-877-SF4Bank. I work for State Farm. I checked online and aslo called the bank directly and had them pull my loans, credit cards and even my savings account and CDs  All are in good standing.  DO NOT GIVE YOUR INFO. Call the bank directly. They can check if there are notes on your account.

I received a call yesterday and one today from this number. I didn't answer. I googled and found references to State Farm. I do have my car insurance with them so I called my agent to make sure everything was okay as I know I'm not late on my payments. I was told that everything was up-to-date and they have no idea why State Farm is calling me.  Annoying!

Nope, I worked in that department for State Farm and you are being called because you aren't paying your loan.

I get no less than 20 calls per day from this number. It always rings 1 time and ends, then leave a msg from state farm. can never get anyone to answer. I am pi**ed, livid, irate, po'd and have had enough.

very true! we dont telemarket bank . our agents sell that when your in the office. people come on you have to be wise."asking for social because there computer was log out" come on thats a true scam .. state farm only calls people to get quotes. only if you have state farm the will ask if you want if you need loans, but thats your personal agent. if you dont have ties with state farm. they wont bother you.. do you think a big company is gonna call you like state farm. no. some of you have to be wise.

This is State Farm Bank calling to collect past due payments. We're always late with it so we know when they call it's them. The only problem is is that every time they call (every day, even Saturday and Sunday and holidays) they never leave a message or they leave one automated message. I don't trust automated calls unless they're my doctors. Too many people scamming people these days. And never ever give your social over the phone. These calls are monitored. They have to ask other questions to validate your account and they should know better. If they have your name and know your account number without validation they should be able to help you. That's the one way you can know for sure that they are legit. I was always told to never ever give anyone over the phone, especially a cell phone, your social security number. That's just crazy. I won't call them back anyway because they don't leave messages and they harass you anyway by blowing up my phone 7 days a week. It doesn't matter what you tell them they still call you even after you tell them payment is on the way, they don't give up until the payment is in the system. They seem to not check their systems before calling either to see that you just paid them. They automatically see delinquent and call to bother you. We eventually pay them within a couple of days of being late and the last time I checked you have so many days to pay it after the date on your bill so why do they keep calling the next day? And yes they do do company telemarketing calls because I've been getting them since I was 16 and old enough to drive even though I wasn't working. I wasn't even a driver yet or ensured to drive. Just like credit card companies. Been getting those calls and letters in the mail since I was 16 too. My phone number is on the state, nationwide and global do not call lists so thank God I don't get those telemarketer call. If you don't have an account with State Farm just call them back and tell them they have the wrong number and to remove you from the system. If you tell them that when you have no ties to them they have to remove you. It's against the law if they don't. If they keep calling report them to your local police. I don't know if that really works or not but that's what the laws say to do.

It's statefarm bank. But they call and call and call even after the bill's paid.  Maybe their reps should check the computer before the call. Paid the bill online Tuesday, money out of my account Wed, it's Thurs and they're still calling. I think this qualifies as harrassment!

getting calls from this number on a daily basis... every time I answer the call ends. If my State Farm account was past due my Agent would call and remind me.

This scam artist is now calling from a private number and getting numbers off Craigslist responding to for sale ads.

Yes, ignore collection calls and they will go away. Brilliant advice! If you have no business with a collector, then they do not want to call you. It's a waste of their time and resources.

How about you link to these mythical "advertisements"? Oh, you can't? That's because they don't exist. This is State Farm's main collections number.

It's State Farm Bank collections department. My vehicle was repossessed and they're trying to collect from me.

I just got that "urgent" call and think it might be a scam.  I called back and couldn't get through to anyone.
It is not a number listed on State Farm's website.  I will try a number from their website and see if it was really them.

I got a call from 877-638-0175.  I looked it up and it is State Farm Bank.  The call was not answered, and their calling computer tied up my answering machine for 4 min., 20 sec. saying "We apologize for the delay.  Please remain on the line and a representative will be with you shortly."  I heard the answering machine and turned it off.  No telling how long it would have stayed on my phone line.  This is just plain harassment.  It should be illegal for computers to do calling and leave a person on hold.  The call was for my son, who does not live with me.

a man left a message on my answering machine...he just said hello 3 times and hung up...kinda creepy actually.

This phone number is used in advertisements "Bad Credit/No Credit/Bankruptcy? Need a Loan? We can help." Sounds like a scam
