These calls are made on behalf of your energy provider to provide you with a NO CHARGE energy conservation kit to help you save energy which in turn helps you save money.  This is not a scam and not spoofing. If you call the inbound toll free number from you caller ID you will get a response back by either a live person when the center is open or a recording when its closed.  Please take advantage of getting this conservation kit at no additional cost to you to save money on your electric bills.

This is NOT true. There is NO fee with this program. The energy efficiency conservation kit sent out is provided at No charge and nobody has ever called anyone asking  for a credit card.  This is absolutely incorrect. This program has been going on for over 3 years now. The conservation kit provided is CFL's light bulbs to help you save energy and money.

The government is doing a good thing, not bad.

I got a call from this number. They said , "hello, Rebecca!" I said"who?" They said isn't this Rebecca ......... at 1159 Park A....E....? I said,"No" and they hung up. The name and address they gave was my mothers it called my phone number and no we do not live at the same residents.I called the number back later and got a recording that said enrollment line is now closed.

Call came in when I was on another call. Didn't know the number and looked it up and see it is a number from someone else that really has no reason to be calling me.

Just received a call from this number at our place of business.  I answered as always, there was a slight pause and a man asks, "Oh, is there someone at the end of this line or am I going to have to hang it up?"  I beat him to the hanging up part.  Annoying to say the least.

They have called my business 9 times the last couple of days!  I would like to report them!  This is a total harassment!   I do not pay for a business line to be harassed!  
I do not want them calling me.  I tried calling them back and was on hold for 10 minutes and finally I hung up!

Just got called by this # and they claimed to be our local electric and have a deal re: electric bulbs .... I suspect that this is some kind of "spoofing" for something else .... and needs reported until they are shut down.  This is illegal, con artist shiit and needs to stop.  What a waste of time to even be bothered with this.  I told them this is a residence #, not a company/business .... so exactly what are they up to?  I also told them that I had their # and that they had better take ours off their list.

I just called the number back and told them that I wanted my number removed from their ad agency. He said "we can do that" so hopefully,I wont get anymore calls.

Why, when you are on the 'do not call' list, do you continue to get these calls!

They said they were calling on behalf of my local electric utility company - which of course is not true as my utility company confirmed to me by phone that they are a scam.  Anyway they told me they wanted to send me a few free CFL light bulbs in exchange for giving them my credit card info. No way. And like almost everyone else on this site, my number has been on the do not call list for years.

It is too bad that no government or police agency wants to bother to take any action against them.
