I agree I have just started experiencing the massive calls. I am held accountable for my phone # why shouldn't they have the same??? It is very unsettling to have so many calls, and not know where or why they are calling. Some have very broken English???

11:04 pm received a call from From Precilla at telephone number 1-877-647-1101 who when introducing herself stated she was with AT&T and that she was calling because our business account needed to be updated. Made no attempt to verify identity and when I asked if her paycheck comes from at&t she could only reply that she is not a third party but works with at&t, I said if you do not work for at&t do not call back, if we receive another call from this number we would file a formal complaint.
I don't believe this person was with at&t and that is was scam - but who else do you list?

These scumbags from 1-877-647-1101 call 3 times a week. I tell them every time to stop calling, but they are way to stupid to understand. I think AT&T should step up and do something about these low-life scumbags.

We get at least 3 calls a day from this number! AT&T trying to offer something. I keep asking to be removed, but they keep calling. And they're very rude!!!

Our business repeatedly gets calls from them (at least 3 times per week!) and I have asked every single time to be removed from their call list and they do not comply!!!! They harass our employees and are not in any way affiliated with AT&T. I even got AT&T on a three-way call with them and they continued to lie even to the legitimate AT&T rep!!! Do NOT do business with them, they are just out to scam you!!!

Our office gets several calls from this number and it comes up on Caller ID as "Toll Free Caller" 877-647-1101.
First they ask for the office manager. Then the woman says she's from AT&T and wants to inform you about the transition from copper wiring to fiber optic wiring. She says it will not affect your service, and they want to offer a 20% discount.
What gave her away as a scam call was she wanted to give us a discount from $145 per month down to $130 per month. Our current bill for all services is $116 per month!! She pretty much then hung up on me.

Did not ask for name of person, asked for someone who makes decisions on the account or office manager. Sounded like she said EC&C. Then she talked about conversion for Uverse and scheduling a time for service.
Asked me to confirm business #, address, name, alternate contact #, and if I were authorized to make a decision on the account. I said no I was not and gave her # to reach my supervisor.
I Googled her Caller-ID # and found these reports. Thanks for reporting.

I just called At&T and they stated that the people calling from this number(877-647-1101) is a 3rd party company called all AT&T customers to switch them out of DSL. I guess they are getting rid of it and they are offering to switch people out for free instead of forcing people to pay. I informed her I was not interested in this and she stated that there is no way to take you off the list. She put in a request but could not guarantee that they will stop calling. So basically every time AT&T roll out some sort of new special you will be harassed into converting over until they think its appropriate to stop. I requested them to stop calling 2 months ago and we're going on 3 so I dont believe it will stop. They are more focused on making money, bothering people throughout the day is not their main concern Considering switching due to the lack of customer focus and concern and they did not inform me they are sharing my info with a third party. They also stated that they could block the number and we all know that a crock of s***!!! Money hungry b*****ds!!!

this phone number continues to call every day and hang up once the phone is answered. This phone is a business phone and every time they call it is utilizing a phone line that a patient with a true emergency should be utilizing. Can you help????

Received call from this number today and asked to speak to person who charges our phone account. I asked which company you are calling from? First he answered "with AT&T", I asked again you are from AT&T? He firmly answered "yes". Then I asked what our AT&T account number is? He hung up right away. A pure liar and scamp!

Called and asked to speak to the person in charge of the ATT account. I asked if she was with ATT and she said no she was a third party vendor. The lady said this call is being recorded for quality assurance, okay? I asked what it was in reference to. The lady said a second time, this call is being recorded for quality assurance, okay? I asked again what it was in reference to and she said good-bye and hung up.

I received a call stating my AT&T account was under review and they were calling to save me money. I stated I would not release information as I could not verify the caller(woman) was from AT&T. I also told her she had not asked to verify my identity. The caller abruptly hung up after my comment.

states she is with at&t uverse and they want to "save us some money" ... however, we are on a 6 line phone system and she calls on the last roll over line which makes me think it's NOT at&t
