I manage the phones for my company. I have employees reporting this to me. What should we do? How do we stop it?
Thanks.

Same here. Got the text message at 10pm last night. I've blocked them on my text recipient list.

I got the same thing - once last week and once again a few minutes ago. Of course I didn't call. This spam via text message trend is becoming annoying.

I should correct myself a bit. It doesn't accuse the recipient of fraud but rather claims that there are recent fraud attempts on people who have SDFCU accounts. Seems to be trying to get people to call that 877 # to get personal info from unwary callers worried about their SDFCU accounts. In other words, it's "phishing" for personal info.

It's undoubtedly a fraud that accuses you of fraud in the text message. Don 't know what their angle is exactly. Probably phishing
