received several calls they had my ex-wifes name and claimed that they had a case number on file that i needed to contact them in 24 hours, it seemed like a scam cause he did not leave any specific information except that 877 number which after searching online seems to be sometype of company trying to scam others so I never bothered calling back. He re-ferenced a file number that seems to be non-exhistant

Scam. My sister was just called and i checked with the Better business bureau and SMA active litigation does not exist in the state of California.

This company left a message on my voicemail pretending to be the Post Office so that I would call them back.  I called the number back and David Garcia answered the phone saying "Corporate Office".  I asked if this was the post office and he then asked for the case number.  I gave it to him and he was trying to serve a summons to my sister.  I asked him to identify his company and he refused to do so, but asked me to relay a message which I do not plan on doing.  Why should I do something for him when he won't identify his company or organization.  I called the company again without disclosing the case number asking how they got my number and who they were.  They were still able to know cross-reference my caller-ID with the case number, but at least the person who answered this time told me they were SMA Active Litigation.

I got a phone call from this company? They said they had a summons for me to appear in court. They left it with a friend as a voice mail. I have never given her number to anyone. So this is some kind of scam I think...
