I got the same phone call. The name that they are using is Nationwide. When I asked for their address or even the corporate address, they flat out refuse. I thought any legitimate company would be willing to give out their address. These people are scammers. In my case, they are attempting to collect on a debt that I paid back in 2010. When I told them that I made the payment back in 2010, they stated I would still be served with papers anyway. So I called the Federal Trade Commission and my State Attorney's office about the phone calls. I told them of the situation and they stated these people are scammers. These idiots have gone as fair as contacting a family member and giving them my information as well as calling my job and speaking to an HR rep at my organization. My family member thought it was hilarious that they would even do that so they stated toying with them. These idiots told my family member in order to resolve the debt they need a credit card number and payments could not be sent to them. Back in 2010, when I started get these phone calls I actually had to file a police report for these scammers to quite calling my job. These people have overstepped their boundaries and I am looking to sue. It is illegal to discuss any personal matter with anyone besides the person involved.

This is brilliant.  I listened to this twice to be sure I heard it correctly.  I got the same message from Carol Stevens as the rest of the posters.  The best part was when she said "you have until we reach you in person  ..."  Until they reach  me in person?  Seriously?  That would be about the same time that hell freezes over, I'm thinking.

My sister got this call from this lady saying my EX husband was being served.  I have no idea how she got the number.

I got a call on my cell phone from 12394249332 that a woman was going to serve and (gave my mothers name) papers that she was being sued and she needed to call 8776954965 with a case number  WTF if someone was bringing a civil case against a person an officer of the law or a court appointed person would serve and they would not be able to call first. that would be a violation of right to privacy  so don't believe these people

I GOT THE SAME CALL. SHE SAID HER NAME WAS ATHENA AND SHE CONTACTED MY SUPERVISOR. IS IT LEGIT? I DONT KNOW OF ANY LAWSUITS AGAINST ME. SHE TOLD ME MY CASE NUMBER WAS 1015051

I got a woman calling from a local number asking am I going to be home so she can serve the papers...I asked her what papers she was speaking of and she said - Oh! I thought they contacted you. You can call them at 877-695-4965 and gave me a claim number. She stated that I should call them and she will call me back in a couple hours when she is headed my way. Seriously lady.

They called my job 16 times 877-695-4965 and spoke to my manager saying they have paper to serve me and when is the best time to do it.  I called them back to give them my address and the man on the phone startes to aruge with me about setteling the debt I don't know what the debt it is and why they are calling.  I figure if you have papers to serves someone your not going to call them you will just serve them!  I think they are crooks and I am not supplying them with any information.  It is againt the law for debt collecter to call your job and discuss your personal busy with your employer it falls under the Fair Debt Practice Act!! If they keep calling me I am going to file charges against them. If anyone has the name of this company please email me their address at reesecup83@hotmail.com, I am going to send them a letter. Ok, so I check my phone messages, I get a call from a lady name carol stevens said they have a file against me with a claim number and that I had one chance to call to clear this up, and that I needed to call to give my address and work info so they can serve me, are you serious, who does this kind of thing, if you got my number shouldn't you have my address and all my bills have been paid, this is crazy.
