they called and wanted me to review movies for young children, i was at work and couldn't talk so i hung up. Now, everyday approximately around 12:00P Eastern time they call. I send them directly to voicemail and they never leave a message... tends to get annoying!

Okay...Day 2 of these calls.
I did get a call from some Film place as one person states asking me to review films...after listening to what sounded like a recorded sales pitch, I hung up.

Yesterday, I didn't answer and got a Text Message from them:

Important Alert!  Your Capital One Auto Finance account requires immediate Attention.
Please Call 800-946-0332 ASAP This message is free
To end alerts reply STOP

Well, I don't have an account with this group.  And it's suspicious that this came at the same time.

After getting calls daily from them with no message, boyfriend picked up the phone and spoke with them. They had stated they had called approximately 25 times (never left a voicemail) and wanted us to review some films for them, but since we didnt' have kids we didn't qualify. We declined the offer regardless if we had kids or not. Calls stopped for a couple of months, now they are starting again, sometimes several times a day. Not sure what part of not interested and don't have kids they didn't understand.

Not a scam. They identified themselves as Kids First and Smart Television Alliance.
They explained how they are putting together a recommended viewing list of movies for families. I was very interested and they were very polite.

They sent me & my husband two free films, they really were free, to review for them. The films arrived and after watching them I loved the values they taught. I actually bought two more from them when they called back to get my review.

That was my experience with them.

it's "feature films for families". It's supposed to be this clean and honest service... but the people call, and call and call. They will not ID themselves, they will not leave messages on answ. mchns., will hang up on you if you aren't the person they are calling, will not leave a message in person, they are rude and defensive.
