Rings 3/4 times then hangs up. almost every other day.

I made this posting a few months ago, and I want to retract what I said about Strategic Marketing.  Please don?t use this phone number to call Mr. Bagal.

Received another call at the office today, Mon. 4/18, at 10:55am (Pacifice).  I picked up the line but said nothing.  The "caller" hung up.

This same number has called me several times already.  Since I have Caller I.D., I have not picked up the calls, but I am tired of them pursuing me.  How do we report these calls as nuisance calls to the Don't Call Registry?

Just received a call from this number at my office a moment ago.  When it was clear no human being was at the other line, I just hung up.

4/7/11  this number called and just hung up. Seems to be yellow pages or so.
Hope there is a way some day to stop these callers/companies from doing so.

They call every 1-3 days.  I hang up.

It was for the San Diego Union Tribune. That sleazy paper has been relentless in their attempts to get me to subscribe. Apparently they believe the Do Not Call Registry doesn't apply to them. Idiots.

I saw your posting on this number and I thought I'd respond.  This number kept calling my house for weeks and leaving no message. I finally got pissed off enough about it over the weekend and returned a call to the number to find out who was calling my house.  It gave me this ranting message about joining up for something and I don't even remember what it was.  The message was clearly articulated and set up to pitch to pissed off people (like myself) whom are forced to call the number back in order to find out who keeps calling.  Is this a new form of legalized harrasment/soliciting that I'm now aware of? At the end of the message the system did give me an option to remove my number from their calling list so I did just that.  However, I'm curios to see if they back-doored me on this b***s*** call by charging me some kind of ridiculous call charge for $50 that's going to to show up on my phone bill at the end of the month.

Calling my work and not saying anything listen for a minute and just hanging up-not a great way to conduct a business.
The least they could do is take the business off the calling list! annoying!

Yeah, they just started calling me. I push my receive fax button.  Good luck on your law suit. Go get em. THe only trouble i am having is they keep calling.

Finally picked up this call. It was the San Diego Union Tribune, wanting to deliver a free advertising section on Sundays.

I too received numerous calls from SME. I was able to reach the owner, Mr. Stacy Bagal, of Strategic Marketing Enterprises by dialing his cellular number of 480-650-9398. This is the number that is on one of the filings with the Florida Secretary of State so its public record. I'm also currently involved in a lawsuit against SME in federal court in Chicago for their telemarketing violations. Local newspaper telemarketer......won't leave messages and won't stop calling

I'll get a call from this number at least 3 times a day. I just ignore it. That's why I have my answering machine. Unfortunately they don't leave any message.

it is a company called sme.  They are trying to contact you about a subscription to your local newspaper.  That is what the recorded message said when I called the number back
