These companies can appear to save you money, but all you have to do is call verizon and they will give you the same rate. These companies only have access to business accounts or residence.
They can break a bundle without you knowing and you will pay a heavy price. DO GET SUCKED IN!
These people wont do Biz in Massachusetts for Long!!!!!

I got a call from this number asking for Walter Erlanger. When I asked who was calling, the caller identified himself as Josh..I asked who he represented, he asked if I were Walter Erlanger. When I again asked who he represented, he said that I would have to identify myself because he was the one who called my company. I told him where to go and hung up When I called the number on caller ID, I was transferred to "John"  who said Verizon Installation Services for Business"....

SCAM Received a call from the number again . He will send me a thank you $100.00 Gift card to American Express. This persons name is  is Allen Carlson from Verizon Upgrade Department in WA.
He wants to thank me for my Change in service to my business line my bundle package.
For 55.99 I will receive an in service with the internet service as long as I maintain the contract I signed,
I told him I did not sign the contract, but he insisted I did because he had my account. I told Him my account was cancelled back, but insisted I was locked in.This is all while I am being recorded. I am a licensed Investigator in Masachusetts. THIS IS A THIRD PARTY RESELLER.

Guy from the number 877-706-3829, called our store and first spoke to my mom whom transferred the call to me.  He indicated that he wished to speak to the person that handled the phone account.  I said I do.  He then indicated that he was sorry we were no longer with Verizon.  I stated, Dude who told you that?  To which he became irate and responded, I'm not a dude, I'm not your friend, keep it professional" in an angry tone.  He then proceeded to ask if I was the business owner, to which I responded no.  At this point, I asked are you from Verizon.  No response, he simply indicated in an irate manner that he would call the business owner at their number.  

These people are fraudsters...beware.

877-706-3829 called my business and the person I spoke with was actually very kind and polite. She had most my information and said they were a third party working with Verizon and they had told me I would save about $35 on my monthly bill. I went ahead with the bundle plan she was talking about and it actually ended up to be a $50 a month savings! I was very pleased, sorry it didn't work out for others.

Said she was from Verizon, but didn't know my name.  Clearly a rip off caller.   When I said "you should know who I am if you are from Verizon" the girl flipped out and hung up.

I continue to get calls from this number at work at least twice a day.  Once I answer the phone they never say a word but they don't hang up either.

I get a call nearly every day from this number. If I answer there is nobody there. It's pretty annoying.

It's risky to "confirm" a stranger who calls you. The safer way is to get their contact info from an independent source like a phone directory. Major telcoms are generally listed in all paper phone directories and you can always search on the net.

Same scam. INsisted he was from Verizon, not a reseller. Very friendly and helpful, but when I asked for number to call him back, there was just a dead line. Tried three times. This is my second scammer for Verizon "bundles". Don't fall for any of this! Question is, how do I ever confirm a REAL Verizon rep, because I actually want to change my service!

No idea who this man was.  When I answered our business line he shouted something then hung up.  Did a reverse search on the phone number and found this site.

Buck season has just opened and I have all my hunting gear on and I am on the hunt.  I am tracking back these numbers through a special system and as soon as my spider tells me where they are located their system is going to be permanently down.  They like to play games and I am not a player so here comes the hunter after the hunted.

12/02 /2011 12:40pm   Received call from a man he asked who is in charge of phone services. I asked who is calling. He stated he was calling about our phone service. I said Are you a third party reseller? He said
No subcontract from Verizon but I dont have a name of a company. I said What is the name of your company. He hung up. IF THESE COMPANIES DO NOR START GIVING THERE COMPANY NAMES
AND MISREPRESENTING THEMSELVES AS VERIZON A CLASS ACTION SUIT WILL BE FORTHCOMING . PLEASE TAKE NOTICE. THEY HAVE BEEN BREAKING PEOPLES BUNDLE SERVICES AND PEOPLE APPEAR TO BE GETTING SAVINGS. THIS IS A RIPOFF!

Got several calls from this number.  When trying to call back there is nothing.  They should really find out who this person is taking up our time!

I answered, nobody there (I like to wait and take up their time by asking why their caller ID is "unavailable")  I tried calling back 3X; and it just dropped  the line...

CALLED - NO RESPONSE WHEN I ANSWERED. CALLED NUMBER BACK. RECORDING TO LEAVE NAME AND NUMBER. TOLD THEM I WAS FROM CONSUMER COMPLAINT DEPT. AND THAT THEIR NUMBER HAS BEEN REPORTED AND FILING COMPLAINTS AGAINST THEM.

Third party reseller from Verizon. Says she is calling on" behalf "of Verizon then gave me the name very quickly because I asked if she was a reseller and got in a huff.,she hung up. I am a business.

Said she was from Verizon but did not know who to talk to regarding our account.  Maybe she should next time she calls.  Hang up.
