Further update, this is a scammer, claiming to be in Florida, but who may be operating out of Panama.  This is not a poster who wants to share his knowledge, it is a poster who is spamming the site, and is after your money.  The link goes through multiple redirects, and ends up on a different site.  Stay away from this jerk.

These guys will leave messages on your phone at 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. I've had as many as 8 messages a day, and when I call to try and remove my number, they are so rude, you get no where. One of them even swore at me once, and the other day, when I had to call twice, I was told, "Oh, yeah, you called already and gave us trouble today." Me!!? Is there a way the police can get involved? Do these guys have a street address?

This number keeps calling asking for someone who hasn't lived at this address for over 20 years.  Where they got the number I don't know.  We are on the www.donotcall.gov list and still receive their calls.  Even when we threatening to call the IL States Attorney, the calls still arrive.  Get rid of these people legally.

The registry does not prevent debt collectors from calling you. Its designed to warn and stop marketing callers. But Sending a letter of cease and desist. Also called C & D is an order or request to halt phone calls (cease) and not to take it up again later (desist); or else face legal action. After this letter is sent, any calls made after the debt collector has received your letter places them in violation of the law and now turns the law in your favor and now going to court becomes farther from their mind since the have broken the law. Remember, you have not broken a law and can not go to jail for a debt. Please challenge my input here and look it up through the fair collection act.

Its a shame that anyone would have such a greedy annoying motivation to harass people for debts that can not be paid. But there is a solution to this problem. First off, many debt collectors are using computer generated calls to harass you and this takes no manpower once it is set up. Its really quite easy to do, but if you have a computer, and internet connection, than you also have a messenger program that will dial phone numbers. You can start by inputting these numbers and having your computer call them, and scheduling your computer to dial the numbers repeatedly, filling up any answering machine they may use or just tying up their phone lines just as they are doing to you. The difference is, they are running a business and this tactic interrupts their sole means of communicating in their business. There are other techniques too, such as picking up when a call is made by their computer and repeatedly pressing the star and pound key. This does not always work but it can cause the computer calling to loose your information and therefore taking your name off the list generated by that computer. Remember, we did not want to fall behind, but the leadership in this country put us there. These collectors buy these debts pennies on the dollar, meaning the debts are really worthless. So anyone buying these debts are scum who prey on ignorance. Please read the Fair collection practice laws and you will see how these collectors break most of these laws before luring you into court if they are even so bold to do so. Every state ads to these laws to protect you even more.

This scum bag called and when I answered, he said hi Sylvia, when I asked him who he was he said is this Sylvia? and I told him he had a wrong number, then he said stop lying I did a reverse check and this number is for you.  I then told him "I dont know what to say about your reverse thing but like I said you have a wrong number and hung up.  This scum bags call every day and when I am not here they harass my mother.  She is old and gets very nervous when they do that. Is there a way to stop these people?

Who the heck is Robert King? I have gotten calls for him on my home phone and cell phone. It is either the courts or collection agencies every time. Checking my cr's I don't see any activity initiated by the name, but @ a  year ago it was messages on the landline voicemail from some court, and now the 1-877-725-4986 cell calls have started.

Believe it or not, this is an actual company, YES a very highly unprofessional one. You must send them a cease and desist letter. Otherwise these A-holes will continue to HARASS you (even if it isn't you they are looking for). If that fails press charges, and sue them for cell phone charges if they are calling your cell phone... so far the C&D letter has worked though.
