Had the same thing happen to me, but they charged me 30 dollars a month.  This is the 2nd time it has happened to me. I questioned the telephone company on why they allowed a 3rd party to charge something to me without me being aware.  The lady working for the telephone company kept insisting that I agreed to it on line.  I told her that I did not know what the stupid thing was much less ordered it.y3j

Opened my bill and had been charged 15.25 saying that it was enhanced services something called SBO-online survival kit.  Called the phone company and had them start a complaint and cancel any 3rd party billings.  I only have a very basic phone with no long distance, it is only used for security system.  This is the second time I've gone through this with the phone company, I hope this block on third parties works.

These ppl showed up on my phone bill charging me 15.25 a month for a service I have never heard of nor would I have signed up for. But somehow they had all my information. When asked what Services my account says i have used they tell me they dont have axcess and cant tell me this. Brenda the supervisor I spoke to said I signed up for their services off a link from another page. This is BULLS%&T. I do not ever sign up for things on the internet. CAN YOU SAY SCAM?

this number called me and insisted that i knew the person that they were asking for.  How can i stop these annoying phone calls. and please pay close attention to your phone bill. they bill you for services that you did not ask for!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just had a similar experience with SMall Business . org and all but cursed the individual on the phone and insisted he send me a cancellation notice for the 29.95 charge he was going to put on my monthly phone bill.  I will call my phone company to ensure no charges are put to my account from these scammers.
good thing my 9 year old son handed me the phone right away when he picked it up and heard the pre-recorded message saying they would charge my account if we didn't cancel.

SBO.ORG called (call back number 877-726-4222) trading on, I am sure, the similarity of their name to the SBA, and not leaving any number on the caller ID, etc.  Obviously a scam - don't call back, report to your state Attorney General's office.

I received a recorded message from an "unknown number," however 877-726-4222 is the number they left in their message.

The recording states they are calling from a company called "Small Business Organization" or "SBO". The message thanked me for signing up for their service (I didn't sign up for anything and have never heard of them). They mentioned something about an Office Depot discount for every month that I am a member.

I did some research online and found this company's website (www.sbo-online.org), which was vague as to their services, and I found a myriad of complaints on the national Better Business Bureau website. Apparently this company practices "cramming," where they somehow get charges posted to your phone bill.

I do not intend to call them back as I feel this would just be confirming my phone number with them, and based on the complaints on the BBB website, it appears that once they get you on the phone, they record (and perhaps manipulate?) the conversation in order to make it appear that you have agreed to their services.

I plan to contact my phone company and pay close attention to my phone bill. If you receive a message from this company I would urge you to do the same.
