These scammers called my parents who are both almost 70!!! They threatened BOTH of them! They said they were from TAG, which is nonsense and bogus. I tried to call them to give them a piece of my mind, but got a recording saying their hours were 9am-7pm. They ARE scammers and they want to get your personal information, so don't fall for it. When and if you start getting calls from them, please advise your local police that scammers are threatening people in your area. Let's NOT let them get away with this!

I got a call from these people at my place of employment on 10/30/13, in which they said they would be coming to serve me papers as well. Sarah Mill called and said you have been notified .What a bogus bunch of crap. Who really calls to tell you they are serving  you papers. Notify my lawyer and he will take care. Not showing my ID or any other info to anyone.

Received several calls from Lisa Smith. Other posts have said that they are part of the TAG group.  Does anybody know anything about this company called TAG? I cannot find out anything and I want to send a cease and desist letter. Any help would be appreciated. She even called me at my job!

I just listened to a voicemail from a Lisa Smith! The number was listed as a UNKNOWN CALLER. She left the "I'm coming to serve you tomorrow.." threatening message on my answering machine too. However, she was calling for my FRIEND WHO LIVES 3 HOURS AWAY! She left the same 877 number as all of yours so I called it back and had a phone operator tell me that she would let them know they had the wrong county.. Very nice of her, considering the fact that here in Louisiana we don't have COUNTIES we have PARISHES! Lol! What idiots!

No one is given a heads up they'll be served - the court process server just shows up and hands you the papers.  You also don't need an ID with you.  You can't "be notified" or "served" via email, text or voicemail either.  

Report the caller to the FTC, FBI, Dept of Justice and your state's Attorney General.  You may also wish to contact your local police dept and let them know scammers are calling in your area.

Never pay any caller unless they mail - not email or fax - proof that you owe a debt and that they have the legal right to collect said debt.  Any caller who refuses to mail this documentation is owed nothing, per the FDCPA.

I just got a call on my job and on my cell at 11.36 am from  877-733-2802 Sarah Miller stating I must be home on Monday with a valid id to be served papers and I had until tomorrow to call and refer to case# 41051 ..and said you have been notified!

Same thing here...Sarah Miller called and said the same thing...call the party who is serving me at 877-733-2802.  First, process servers don't call you.  Second, I could tell she was reading a script because she had to stop and start three times during the message.  Just a bunch of scum trying to get you to pay money that can't be legally collected.  

I just got a call from Sarah Miller and she says she is a process server. She said if I don't call her and told me that on Friday she will come and server papers either at my residence or at work, and I have to sign for these documents with a proper ID. Never mention who the papers were from on the message. She sort of threatened but I know that my lawyer told me that it is illegal for them to threaten and to call at the place of employment. They can be fined for that. So, if she comes to my office - I'll hand her my lawyers card to have her contact him.

I just got a call from this number with a case number and was threatened that if I didn't call back with in business hours they would come to my house or plave of employment tomorrow.. My persons name was Sarah miler and she was a bi*** on the message "you have been worned" THankyou people for relieving the stress of this scan!

I'm not terribly worried about the papers being served, I was nice enough to give him my old address from 10+ years ago and gee confirmed it as the address on file and then I asked who was suing me The caller said he was not allowed to tell me due to the fact he had no way of confirming my identity,yet he allegedly has my current info... TAG is listed as a law firm that has over 150 people practicing nationwide.Yet every one I've attempted to call says to try later or thatif I leave my case #, full ss# & DOB (all information provided will of course only be used for identification purposes ONLY). I'd love for this idiot to show up and attempt to serve me some bogus summons papers or try to collect the debt on behalf of the debtor..

I received a call from this number but it was Jessica Jacob who left the voicemail that she was coming out to deliver some papers that I would have to sign for  gave me a case number and when I called the number back   877-733-2802 I am being sued by someone but I never spoke to anyone only got the same recorded message   and the company name was TAG

I also received a call from unknown number and he claimed to be William Jacobson from a private courier and he had papers to serve me with and gave me a case number and told me to call 877-733-2802.

1st recieved a call from unknown number he clamied to be Matthew Bryant and that he needed to serve me papers i hung up on him then he called from a 504-310-6462 and gave me this number 877-733-2802 with a case number and said he needed to serve me papers.  I know first hand they dont call u to serve papers.  the comapny name is TAG.
