I told him to remove me from his list he then told me to bite his butt. I have filed a claim with the National Do Not Call Registry. Please do the same because there is a penalty of up to $10,000 for calls like this. This amount should bring the abusive phone calls in check.

left message that it was important. when I returned the call he didn't identify who he worked for but that I owed money for a hospital bill. I told him to fill with Medicaid. he informed me that they didn't use Medicaid (which when I finally figured out who he was collecting for, I called them and told them to file with Medicaid and they happily did without any problem). then he said pay or he would sue me. I told him to go ahead dumbass because I don't have any money. (if I had money don't you think the bill would have been paid off a long time ago). he hung up on me. I called back and asked for a supervisor. she told me she was a supervisor and I proceeded to explain to her the situation. she kept interrupting like the other guy did and I told her that was why I had a complaint because they wouldn't listen. she hung up on me. I kept calling them back and getting sent to voice mail or hang ups. if the did answer and I ask for a supervisor they would tell me one was not available. sometimes when I would call the same guy would call and use different names, Rodney, john or jim, but always the same guy.

I too received a call from Stan Cole, from the auditing department of NCM. The voice mail sounded like he has known me forever. WHATEVER.  Harrassers!

I received a voice mail from Marty this afternoon. She did not say where she was calling from, but she had "an important business matter" to speak to me about. I know what I owe and what I do not, and I have no intention of calling her back. She spoke very slowly and sounded like she had either just woken up, or was still drunk from the night before. The number she left for me to call back and the number on the caller ID were also different.

I keep getting calls from a "Stan Cole" at PCM that claims he is in the auditing dept.  I have NEVER answered any of his calls and lately he's been starting to sound desperate by saying things like, "I hope you're getting my messages because I can't help you if you don't call me."  I know what it's regarding and have chosen to deal directly with the original parties invloved.  I have his number blocked on my cell, but occasionally get VM's from him.  When I first got his call I was a little worried, but I instantly googled his number and found stories like these.  I agree, stay away from them - low level debt collector scum!

Marty called from 877-741-7600 left several messages that were very unprofessional stating I had to call her back regarding a very important business matter.I finally got sick and tired of her calling so I called back this number which is not the number that shows up on the caller ID. She was very rude and talked like some uneducated person, informing me I had a bill from the ER last year that was sent to her to collect, I tol her I had paid all my bills and my insurance copany can verify all bills are paid and she started saying if there wasnt an uotstanding bill for 90 dollars they would have not turned it over to her. I told her I wasnt going to give her any money over the phone since scam artist are the only ones that try that crap, she told me to give her my lawyers info. I asked for hers and she started yelling at me telling me I was a deadbeat, I told her I know her kind, that Dr's that are contracted to a ER do not always get paid from a insurance company what they want to get paid and try to collect from the patient in these ways. My insurance company sent me a letter stating that when these Drs work for a in network hospital that they have to accept the rate the insurance company has with the hospital. She then realized she wasnt dealing with a person she could intimadate and cussed me and hung up. I called her back and she answers again this is Marty, no company name and I told her again she better not call me again and she cussed me again and hung up on me. These scam artist buy old debts and if they can collect they get to keep the money. These are not ligit collects they bank on the fact that you are scared of having your credit hurt, they can not ruin your credit because the debt is not real just money they hope to collect so they can keep sitting on their a** and not have a real job scamming money from people who do work and have real jobs and pay their bills DO NOT PAY THEM A CENT!!!!! They are fakes!!! It is sickening they can do this and live with themselves!!

Stan Cole here... If you get a call, try and record it... These people are skirting the law with a few thin attempts to discourage you from taking action against them.

In my case, it's a year since I was in the ER, and had just last week thrown out the remaining paperwork. Never had anything in writing saying I owed money, but in January they did call me and tell me my ER wasn't covered, and I paid with my CC. So - best I know, nothing outstanding, but my details might have been dumpster dived last week.

Mr Cole claims to be an "auditor", and he tries to word it as though he's doing you a personal favor, offering to take a phone check or your credit card to settle before the amount goes to claims.

This is important to their tactics because they feel it gets them out of various FTC obligations. Try asking if you can call him back to make the payment, he'll go straight to a thinly veiled "we'll see you in court".

He'd left messages the two days before, but having no idea who he was (and he certainly didn't give that up in his messages), I wasn't biting. I happened to be getting up early on the 3rd day and picked up the call.

Which doesn't fit with the "I just happened to see your debt going by" story, eh?

I tried to make clear that I didn't have a problem with paying my debts, but that I wanted something in paper or something so I knew what and to whom I was paying, and that just made him start with the legal threats. Especially since I've never heard of a phone check, and I sure as hell wasn't giving random-cold-caller my credit card numbers, especially after he tried to "reassure" me that giving my cc number to him posed no threat ("we're not that sophisticated to pull a scam" and "it's not like I can run off with your card number")

These guys talk like scammers, they work like scammers and they behave like scammers.

Folks need to avoid the companies that use their services for collection.

Identified himself as Don Jones with the Arlington Police Dept. of PCM.
APD is the local police dept.
The message was garbled and I needed to listen to it several time at full volume on the answering machine before getting this info.
Then the same number called back 5 times in the next 40 minutes but didn't leave a message.
I will be reporting this to the State and Federal Agencies responsible for Collection Agencies that do not follow the Law.
BTW: I kept the message on the answering machine to be used as future proof !!!

Ignore the call, erase it like I did, or if you actually answer the phone, just hang up on HIM !!!
There is nothing HE can do about it NOW or EVER !!!

If HE keeps calling back, just continue to ignore HIM and Hang up on HIM !!!

My husband got the call on his cell.  They wanted to talk to me. We have Trap Call so I blacklisted them.  They are a bill collector, Thomas White Credit Services. Don't talk to them

Same message, but he claimed that he was with the Arlington Police Dept. for PCM, with the name Don Jones !!!

Got a call from Stan Cole. Said he was with a company called "PCM" and does collections for IBC Bank fraud & Loss Prevention, Local Oklahoma Bank and Local Federal Banks.
