I went to one of the promotional meetings for "Sea Breezes Vacation Club" after getting the American Airlines Postcard promising the Airline Tickets, free 3-day, 2-night vacation plus $50 voucher for Priceline. I had NO intention of signing up for anything, but we thought we'd give it a try and see if the airline ticket offer was legit. After listening to their sales pitch and watching their slide show telling you how wonderful their club is and how much money they can save us on vacations, we were expected to sign up with them immediately for $8,995 and they just couldn't understand why we would say no! We told them flat out we just came for the free gifts! They tried to convince us to join, but we wouldn't budge. Our "salesman" POUTED like a CHILD and finally ESCORTED us out the door with these vouchers to claim the gifts. You have to send $50 for one and $70 for the other. Thanks, but no thanks. I'm not sending anyone any money for any of this. So I wasted a little time but didn't spend any money. I knew this was a scam when I came home and researched it and found similar stories. If they were legit, they would have gladly given us DETAILED INFORMATION on their club so we could join at any time in the future, right?? No - it was NOW or LEAVE. Don't waste your time even trying to get their free gifts. It's a disgrace to see people making a living this way stealing from other people! I tried to call the Attorney General. I told them these people were going to be around for the next 2 days and that they were scamming people out of $9,000. Their response - "we can't help you" or "put it in writing" - and by that time they'll be long gone. That's how they keep getting away with this. Don't waste your time and make sure anyone you know that gets info on them knows its a scam!

Happy, happy, joy, joy, racketeers, scammers, *promo codes*, and shills with printers. Just received snailmail postcard, ?American Airlines?. Presorted, Las Vegas, NV.
877-776-2649 Some of the swindlers fine print- ?All components of this offer are fulfilled by a third party.? Sounds more like "Fly away with your favorite organized criminals?.

I got the post card marked American Airlines. Janie answered the 877 number telling me the flights would be with Blue Horizens. She asked a few questions and stated didn't qualify for the flights, but she said a concelation of a Bahamas cruise would be offered in their place. She switched me over to Patricia(emp#6795) giving me the details of the cruise to the "Grand Bahama Island". Then she asked me for my credit card number, when I didn't give my CC # out and wanted to check the validity of the offer out and call back she put on the hard court press stating if I hang up and call back I will only be able to receive the cruise package at the regular rate of over $600 per person. I'm glad I'm wise enough to have only wasted time on the phone.

I got one of these. I went to a pay phone and called them. That phone call costs them money, so I kept them on the phone for as long as I could and ended the conversation with, "I'm not going to participate in your scam." I think next time I'll have a fake credit card number for them. When it comes up fake, I'll tell them that it's just as real as their offer.

My wife got a card in the mail with Delta's logo that says "Fly Away Promotion". On the back it says, "In celebration of our new years packages we've selected you to receive 2 round trip airfares to anywhere in the contiguous United States - good fit the next 12 months! Call within 48 hours and receive. 3 day 2 night hotel stay t major brands. Instructed to call 1-877-776-2649 and provided a promo code. Called and was told that a new travel agency new to your area (Chattanoog, TN) was doing the promotion which required setting through a 90 minute presentation. Went to the presentation today. The presentation was by Blue Horizons TrVel Club. Costs $8,995 to join plus $199 annual renewal fee. SId their headquarters was in Key Largo, FL. Also said they hVe been in business since the 1990's. After declining the offer, the promised free gift was a voucher which required sending money to Oracle Promotions. My Internet due diligence revealed that Oracle had 27 scam reports. Could not find anything about Blue Horizons on the Internet. Sounds like the same scam using another airline brand to give it credibility.

Just received the same postcard in the mail from, supposedly Delta Airlines. However, as a Delta Diamond Medallion member, they usually contact me via emails. This is very suspicious.

My husband got one today... Our son is in the Navy, this would be amazing to have been able to truly use this to fly to see him!! This is really disheartening!!!

I called the toll free number and found it is for COUPLES ONLY. The card never mentioned it is not for those of us that are single. that is bs. i am a disabled american veteran that is single, lives alone, travels alone. this is discrimination.

I just checked it out...got one of the cards also...it is part of a travel company wanting to sell their services...not a hoax they will give you the 2 airline tickets and a 2 night stay at the Hyatt, Hilton or Marriot and also give a $50 visa card you have to attend the seminar and listen to the 90 minute speaker and then it is up to you what you want to do.

My husband received one of these cards today with the Delta logo on it. We have only flown 3 times in our lifetime and never with Delta. The card is flying away into the circular recycle file.

Thanks for confirming what I thought. I got the same card. Don't understand how they can get away with airlines name and logo.

I received one of these postcards today bearing the Delta Airlines logo. Identical text on the back. I suspected a hoax...then checked the Delta website first and saw nothing about a "Fly Away" promotion. Thanks for posting the URL!
