Received a text message with this number, addressing me by name and indicated they wanted me to call them back at the 1-877-780-3231 to discuss a front desk position. I didn't call or text back.

i have recieved two texts from these people (or this person) from 385-232-0453 asking me to call 877-780-3231, and the second text from the same number asking me to call 877-847-1194 both in reference to an administrative position that i have applied for.  i have been on monster, hotjobs, careerbuilder, craigslist, and all over the place looking for a job here in Vegas (THERE ARE NONE!) and i havent heard anything back from anyone but scammers.  i actually just received a phone call from an indian chick trying to hide her accent 702-418-3054, and that seemed like a pyramid scheme type thing too.  GAH!  why is it SO hard to find HONEST employment these days?@?!?!?

I also received a text message from a 704 area code which turned out to be a cell phone out of Charlotte, NC. The message ask me to call 877-780-3231 to decuss my application for the Secretary position.  I have received another such message but that one was done by email and was bogus also.  It is great to be able to google the # and read what others have to say. Thanks everyone for your info.

Also, I forgot to mention, I have been job hunting on craigslist.org and this is when they contacted me.

They sound like identity thieves. I received a text after answering a job post on craigslist.org. I responded to many postings so I'm not sure which one it was.Please investigate. The number they asked me to call them at is 877-780-3231. However, the number that shows up on my phone is 424-832-4850.

I'm glad I googled this #. Thanks to everyone for sharing. It is sites like this that protect us. They addressed me by name in a text, really, a text? asking to please call 877-780-3231 but the number that shows on my phone is 424-832-4850. I did not call or text back because it sounded sketchy. Now, that I have read everyone's comments, they sound like identity thieves. Do not respond to them and DO NOT give them ANY of your info. I am reporting them and suggest everyone else do the same.

I got the same text but from a 312-919-8724 number asking to call back regarding the reservations postion I applied for and to call 877-780-3231. I am not calling I never applied for this at all.

The sad thing is that it makes it easy to open up lines of credit cards with our information.  They have employment history, etc. It makes me so mad!

Just received a text from 512-827-6224 asking that I call 1-877-780-3231 regarding the teacher's aide position for which I applied.  I am very glad that I googled.  I don't know about the rest of you, but the position that I applied for was through Craigslist.  It really stinks that there are so many scammers that ruin everything.

WOW!! I too received a text from 407-803-3587, stating they reviewed my application for an HR Assistant position in which i applied for - please contact 877-780-3231. As many of us... I first googled the # in hopes to find the Company or any info. before calling... I called, a man answered, and to my surprise he said "Hello Lisa" .... he said he was with "Employer Network"... and needed to verify information that I submitted to a job on CareerBuilders.... he began asking me questions... I stated that all the info he's asking was provided on my resume'. He told me he didn't have my resume' that it was forwarded to the employer. He refused to tell me the Employers name- stating it's confidential due to hundreds of applications recieved.. I told him I was NOT interested- and not to call my number again... and I was going to report this incident to CareerBuilders.

It's unfortunate for us who are spending time looking for employment and run into this.

I think it's great we all have taken the time to blog about this... hopefully we can get this scum from contacting others!

I got txt from 404 too asking that I call the 877 number for an administrator position I applied for.  It did not seem right because they did not leave any specific info other than what I already knew.  I googled the number and I am glad I did. I have no time for scams.

I just recieved a text from 512-827-6224 regarding a cust svc position I applied for and to call 877-780-3231.  Glad I googled.  I am going to text back and let them know they are so busted.

Received a text message from (385)232-0453 for a Marketing Position I applied for. Saying they had reviewed my application and to call them at (877) 780-3231. Seemed odd so I looked it up, totally bogus. Thanks for posting.

I just got text mess from 4248324850 to call for 8777803231 for account rep position. This some scam I might of applied for? I'm to receive a email tomorrow about the position. I keep you all informed what I receive.

Just receive a text from the same number saying that they just reviewed my application for the "Office Liaison Position" I wasn't sure if it was scam,so I looked it up and found you guys. Thank God, I found out before because I am so desperate to find a job.

Received a text from (424) 832-4850 to call (877) 780-3231 regarding an Account Rep. position I applied for. I returned the phone call and I wish I had written down the name of the company, but I did write down the name of whom I spoke with . His name was Andre and he asked if I had 5 to 45 minutes to finish the application process. I asked what they would be asking. He said questions about employers and things already on the application. I asked whom the employer was, he said at this time the employer wishes to remain anonymous because of all the applicants. I told him I did not have the time right now. He advised I could call back whenever. Immediately, I looked up the number and found this. Not going to call back!
