same with me...Toronto Sun this time

Got a call thiis am to verify that I had received my newspaper this morning, after having stopped the delivery for holidays. Therefore, this was a legitimate resume service call.

Second time I get these calls. We recognize the number and the"private number" and just hang up

Received a call from this number asking if I had received my weekly flyers, seems they are having delivery issues since I have not received any in weeks.

877-786-4567....this is Sun Media calling to give you a 'free' local media publication (newspaper/magazine).

I had received many calls asking if I received my 'free' paper, which I have never received, so I called the number back, unfortunately, at a long-distance cost to me!  A real person answered the phone and I asked that they take my name of their call list!  I will wait, with fingers crossed, to see if I get any more calls from this annoying company.

I'm beginning to believe that advertising is the scourge of this planet!  We are constantly bombarded with junk urging us to buy, buy, buy and, I will tell all you dumb advertisers out there....unless you are sending me a coupon or offering a reasonable or discounted price for your product...I don't care how 'fancy' your junk ads are....I'm NOT parting with my hard-earned money!

I also just received a call from them. But nobody on the other side

Mine was from the Winnipeg Sun asking if the newspaper had been delivered today. As it was cancelled over the weekend and restarted today, it made sense.

sun media.  3 times daily just hang up.

After reading this I am not looking forward to receiving more calls from this same number :(

They called 4 times today! No message!
The 5th one was while I was looking at this website!lol
I answered and ....
It says "thank you for waiting" and then hangs up!!!!
Where is this coming from?

Although I called them and they promised to stop the calls they continue!!!

for thoes of u recieveing calls from this number u can contack the opp at 1-888-495-8501 witch is an anti fraud line lets take action to put a stop to telephone scamming other things that can be done as advised by law enforcement is to press youre #key five times and hang up this will boot your number out of their system i hope this helps any one out their who has not yet recieved this information or did not know where to fined it you're not helpless when in doubt contact you're local law enforcement agency dont be a victim of fraud if somthing seems to good to be true it normally is

They called like 4 times in a row bull

It is a computerized calling system and if you answer the phone with any word or saying other than "Hello" in english it does not reconize the word and hangs up.

yah...they dont stop phoning

you just want to strangle these people......they phone at least 4 times a day.....they truly are taking there lives in there own hands especially if i get a hold of them and track them down

Have constantly received calls every hour from this number.  I called the number and they answer.  Have told them twice now not to call my number and they said they would take my name off the list.  I also informed them of the "do not call" list and they seemed surprised.  Told them I will be contacting the OPP next time they call.  Also no one at the other end when they call.  Happens everyday almost every hour.

received a call Nov. 23, 2010 from this number and which I did not recognize and no name shown so did not answer. Who is this caller?
