It's world recovery debt collections

These people called me saying i owed i debt from back in 2009. They convinced me to pay it because they said i would be arrested if i didn't pay. I just authorized them to take two payments of $150 out in july. WHY ARE THEY STILL WITHDRAWING MONEY OUT OF MY ACCOUNT ITS NOT SEP!!!!!!!! I FOUND OUT THEY ARE NOT EVEN A LIGIT COMPANY!! I JUST FILED A COMPLAINT AND MY BANK IS GIVING ME MY MONEY BACK!!!!!!!!! SCAMMMMMMERRRSSS! DONT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION !!!!!!

just received a call to my cell phone....the second call from this number in 4 days....no message.

He call a lot!!I was tire of it I answered.He said It is comcast.But that is not true.Comcast have begining number 855...............They are lier!!Be carefull.No more answer

Keep getting calls from this same number.  Researched and found these responses so I called my Comcast provider. They confirmed that it is NOT one of their numbers and are trying to do what they can to get these people stopped.  IT IS NOT COMCAST... FYI... DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY OF YOUR INFORMATION!! :o)

They're calling me twice a day...but never leave a message so I ignore them.

This number calls and calls, always with hangups.  Get rid of them!

i receive calls about once a day.  one such call actually netted a 7 second message, but it was just heavy breathing and a bunch of call center noise in the back ground.  i do not answer calls from 800 and 877, i will only call them back.

Comcast selling home phone service. I'd actually answered several times before this - first few times no-one there, and one time I got to confirming my name before the call abruptly ended. If I were to take home phone service I'd probably be looking to choose a company with a phone system that worked.

So this # has gotten beyond obnoxious.  They called twice today, twice yesterday, and who knows how many times before that over the last month.  I finally had enough and filed a complaint with the FCC.  Thanks to this site I had a lot of good information to give them.  Y'all might want to do the same thing if they don't stop calling.

Tired of these calls for tripple play.  Ironically I am now seeing a banner for this on this forum.  Not funny at all.  Anyway, I am sure it is comcast because the calls increase after having a prior conversation with customer service.  I called them today about a cable modem and I have had multiple calls later in the evening from this number.  I have told them many times that I will not use this service and it falls on deaf ears no matter what they promise.

I called the same number and requested that the representative determine if there is a way Comcast can discontinue the automated calls.  I do not know whether or not my request will be granted.

Finally answered this number -- they have called several times this week w/o ever leaving a number. He wanted to sell me some sort of voice package (??). He went on to read a VERY lengthy script about all of the features it offers. Then tried to find out who my cell service is through. Then said "all we need to do to get this set up for you is to give me your billing information."

I don't know if its a scam or a 3rd party marketer, but I wouldn't waist my cell minutes on this nonsense.

I've been getting a call from them every day since Tuesday. Twice a day the last two days. The one time I picked up it disconnected immediately. Very weird.

I get the same thing as everyone else - very annoying - on my cell phone several times a day many days - when is someone going to make a phone that will let me block calls?

Continuously cals my phone while I am working out and listening to music weekday afternoons. If I manage to be able to answer and get a live person, they are going to have a very unpleasant phone call with me.

I've been calls from this number for about a month. No one talks when I answered. I finally called back (after hours) and also got the iPacesetters voicemail. I'm gonna call during the day to see if I can get off their list.

I will not answer phone call to this number or to any comcast telemarketer number.

Got a call from this number and didn't answer.  They didn't leave a message.

I have been receiving up to 3-5 calls a day from this number, I never answer a number I don't know but I will look that number up and get as much informantion on them as I can. At least you know who you are ignoring....very annoying business practice. I looked up the name of iPacestters which is a company someone mentioned earlier under comments on this page. They are a teleservices company and right on their website they list Comcast (under Cable/Communication heading) as one of their clients. Also,they are in the business of collecting data which they turn into databases and repackage the info to sell to other clients.I will be calling Comcast and expressing my total displeasure with these types of business practices, let them field a few annoying calls from annoyed customers.......that might stop this practice!

3 times today

Getting calls for the last month.  Answered it today and they Hung up. Called the number back and got a automated message saying it was Comcast and I was put on hold.  Finally a man with a strange voice came on the line.  He did not give his name and he asked if I was calling in regards to a missed call which made me suspicious.  He then asked for my phone number but I wouldn't give it to him.  I asked what the calls were concerning and he said "probably an upgrade of services".  I asked to speak to a supervisor and he said he would but they would just tell me the same thing.  I asked to not be called and he said he had to have my phone number to take me off the list.  I refused.

I called them back and I waited about 2 minutes until somebody answered. They answered with "Hello this is comcast are you calling because of a missed call?" I said "Yes". They said that they were calling because comcast wanted to offer me a deal for a land line. I said "Okay, and that is why comcast has been calling me a million times?" The man said "yes". I said "Well... I don't want it sooo yeah..." He said "Okay, thank you for calling comcast and have a great day."

SOOOOOOO IDK if this is a BS call or if it is really comcast. I suggest that you don't give them any personal info.. =D
