I'm receiving this call once a day since this week. Most likely to be comcast telemarketing about home phone service.

I received a call from this number today. It is Comcast calling from White Plains.
The CSR said she is calling to "verify" I have Comcast and asked me what services I have with Comcast. Since I have had Comcast for at least 5 years I asked her "WHY do you need to know what service I have IF you are calling from Comcast? I would assume you have that information already." She finally looked it up and told me what service I have. Then she asked me how much I spend each month on my home phone bill? I told her I I don't have a land line and only make calls from my cell. She then asked if I make most of my long distance phone calls from my HOME phone? I told her I already gave her an answer about my phone.
Then she asked what type of TV shows do I watch? I told her "All kinds". So she told me they have a package deal that offers 160 channels with HD. I told her I don't have an HDTV. She said well there are regular channels also. I told her if you look at your information you will notice I already have TV with you. She said "ok, well if you need to change or upgrade your service at any time you can call us" I told her "Obviously, I already know that".
Yes, I was hard on her, but this is the sort of thing that irritates everyone. Telemarketing from a company that you already do business with but who doesn't take the time to verify that you have an account with them before they call you to sell you what you ALREADY have.

I have gotten 5 calls in 3 days from this number.  My account is current & they never leave a message.

I've gotten at least 20 calls from them.

Got 5 calls in the past 1,5 week, never picked up I was always at work very annoying !

This number has called my cell phone several times in the past week. I dont answer. They dont leave any message. Thank you for this site and thank goodness for cell phones.

Again, this is Comcast...
Comcast jerks calling again...even though the equipment was turned in last month and the account is closed and current.  I will be filing a BBB complaint against them for harassment.  They are now calling me from three separate numbers.
