This number calls me only when they are trying to get ahold of my husband. They have left nasty messages on my phone and down right threatened my husband when I called to let them know the person who is suppose to serve him papers hasn't showed up twice. You would think that with as many bad comments about them they would be a bit more polite and professional.

Received a message from Rachel at Greystone Alliance asking me for my social security number right off the bat.
No actual file information and lied about legal ramifications.

Company is Greystone Alliance... a collection agency.
I called the number back, he asked if I'd gotten a message (which I had not... again!) and I simply replied "no". He probed for information from me and I simply asked "What company is this?" He replied "Greystone Alliance". I was at work and told him so and that I could not talk now (he's already identified me by my callback number from THEIR caller ID). He persisted and grilled me why I would call if I couldn't talk. I told him that I was simply trying to find out who continued to call me and leave no information. He was rude and overtalked me, and after the third time I informed him firmly I could not discusss anything right now, I was forced to hang up on him.

i have received TWO messages @ my (long) deceased mother's telephone number by a yankee that talks so damn fast i had to re-listen 4 times to figure out what her (alleged) name is and never could understand the name of the company: "Grayson Alliance"?
this - of course - is the telephone number she left -for mom- regarding a "time-sensitive" matter...
she was in compliance with FDCPA when she said if i wasnt mom i wasnt supposed to listen but rammed out that it was important that mom call immediately. ( i am tempted to tell her if she wants to talk to mom, she can go to Forest Park Cemetary, where mom's remains have been for almost 4 YEARS!)
from my old credit/collection days - before retiring - she wasnt in compliance with FDCPA because there was NEVER any letter sent to the (LISTED)address belonging to the phone number she called.
conclusion: if this is a collection agency, they are skip-tracing another person with the same (common) first, last names
all this is - of course - presuming they arent just another SCAM).
probate was settled over 2 years ago and i got the first phone call from these rectums last month i.e. even IF this WAS a debt mom owed....they are too late! i.e. time's UP! game's OVER!
worse than these jerks, i am getting ready to SUE a Houston "law firm" for their harrassing phone calls
which have been coming in for a couple of YEARS; these bastards are fully aware that they are calling the wrong number/mom's dead! but seem to delight in continually leaving messages for mom to call them back.
anybody that thinks the FTC gives a rat's a** when it comes to FDCPA complaints is in for a BIG SURPRISE

Received a call 01/25/2011 @ 9:00AM PST from 877-789-1769 and a message was left advising that GREYSTONE ALLIANCE was trying to contact someone at this number. No person by that name at MY number! Any who...the message went on to identify that the callers name was "Sarah" and that she advised of a "file number" and that this was indeed a collection agency. Well, GOOD FOR HER! Finally someone has the balls enough to admit what they do! Too bad the got the wrong number!

I get several calls a day from this number, but no one ever leaves a message. I don't answer calls from unknown numbers, and this is really annoying. My guess is that it's a collection agency.

My husband got a call from this number saying they wanted to speak to me regarding a third person whose name I had never heard of, saying that person had listed me as a contact. When I called back the "Greystone Corporation" they would not identify the type of business they were so I hung up on them.

When I called the number, they wanted my address. I did not give it. They were speechless for a moment. When asked, they said they work for 2 attorneys and had been given my name and number as the owner of some assets. I refused to give them any information except the phone number they called me at. (They knew I was calling from a different number.) They wanted my number so they could take me off their calling list. I believe they were hoping to get my info thinking I would say, Yes, those must be my assets.

Someone called from this number and has a voice message saying they wanted to talk to me. Since it was a computer message my husband hung up. Immediately a call came back in from an unknown caller asking for me in person. My husband told them I was not home. They then asked for my brother who does not live with me. They left this number to call and to ask for Mrs. Fixx. The number 877-789-1769 was from Greyhound and couldn't read the rest as it was too long to show in the window. That was the recorded message. The live person came immediately after from an unknown caller. I called the number and sounded like a bunch of telephone operators and got transferred to 3 people before getting to Mrs. Fixx, got a voice message that asked for my name and case number. i have no business with anyone, owe no money, borrowed none for 35 years. I'm sure it is a scam.
