Someone is paying for these calls. No matter how little. There is somthing going on here!

I called this number back and asked who owns it - and they are a marketing group that raises money for charities.  I asked to have my name removed - and the operator did enter it in their system - but did say it make take 30 days to activate.

I have registered a complaint with "Do Not Call" but they keep calling and there is no answer when I pick up.

Called on 4/5. I didn't answer. They called back on 4/8, I answered and they asked for me by name then hung up on me. Called the number back and it is a disconnected number.

I let answering machine catch the call.  They hung up.

Received call at roughly 11:00AM.  Caller ID stated TOLLFREE NUMBER which the caller hung up as soon as my voice message started.

Calls at times during day & night,no one on line,I am on "do not call" list.

called and answering machine picked up, no one there. Caller ID showed on the TV the "name not provided".

We do not answer calls without caller ID or name and this call only had number.

We are on "Do NOT Call" list. Big Joke!! Get occasional calls from this number, among others. The idiots hang up when you do answer.

Was called by this number today (4/19).  As always, I let machine pick up, but no message was left.  'Glad I thought to look at this site!

We are also on the "Do Not Call" list but have received numerous hangup calls from 877-795-2268.  The most recent was approximately 10AM on April 16,  2008.

I also received a call today (April 14, 2008) from this number. A lady asked if I wanted to donate to breast cancer. She already had my address on file and read it back to me. This was strange, although numbers and addresses can be purchased from virtually anywhere online. After I gave her permission to send me the donation envelop she said I'd be called again to verify the agreement. If everything checks out then I'll send a small donation. Just like others here, I'm also very careful about who I send money to. But I will check it out before taking any further action.

As with the others, the person(s) called and hung up upon my answering.

The phone rang and like some others here, we screen our calls due to political, sales calls, unwanted solicitations. etc. that come through even though we are on the "DO NOT CALL" registry. They hung up instead of leaving a message.

Called and hung up on answering machine.  I screen all calls so I guess I'll never know who they are or what they want.
