I have been getting several calls from out of area number877-796-0279. on my caller Id it says ANSWERING, like a message is going to be left. but none is left, I do not answer these. WHO IS IT COMING FROM?

877-796-0279 charter cable sucks a**...and would never use them after the 6 times a day for the last four days that they have called me. half the time there is no answer and other times is there lame sales rep saying she will take me off the list which still hasn't happened.

A man called from 877-796-0279. When I answered, he was laughing with someone else. After I said hello again, he mumbled something unintelligible, beginning with the phrase, "Somebody told me that you..." When I asked him what he said, he hung up.

call charter and they will activate the privacy "act" for your number. They are aware that people are receiving the calls, but said they don't know why the calls are made(?)

I just got a call from this number and it hung up. We only got our new (digital) phone service through our cable company 2 days ago, so I don't know where they pulled my info from? Location: SLO county - California.

announce themselves as charter communcations, asked for the number, gave me 888 438 2427, *69 found 877 796 0279, called id blocked. called and asked to be taken off the list, talking to a service, person, called back, told to log on to charter communications and change my preferences to be removed from the list. interesting switch, remove my name from their list not having known mine is there at all. call number is 888 438 2427 informed them of fcc dnc and winocall.
