Same here. "Vista Services" : a $120 reward gift certificate is on the way in the mail to me, free to use, $1 program free for one month, after that $30 a month. It works like many other offers, the only difference here is that the 800 numbers don't work and/or the cancellation doesn't go through, even though you cancel. I have a $88 unauthorized charge on my card from this or related company despite cancellation after a trial purchase of some herb. Phone # to call to cancel: 877-807-2392

I have received calls from these "Scammers" now for three days.  The same story as all of the above comments.  She talked really fast explaing everything and when she said she wanted to transfer me to the shipping department to verify a few things I said I was not interested.  She pushed asking if I drive a car.... buy groceries..... and all sorts of things.  I told her no 5 or 6 times I was not interested. I finally got annoyed and asked her if she could transfer me to the department where I could cancel my card( They claimed to be from where I got my card) She finally said... "Are you Dumb Mr. Scott?"  Hmmm.... I hope none of you fall for this.  Never give out personal information over the phone.

Yep.. this company is a scam they go by several names apparently.  One of which is Platinum rewards mastercard.  If you tell them to take you off the list they then block their phone number and it will show up as unknown #.  Report them and don't give any info to them at all.

8/20/08 I RECEIVED MY 4TH CALL FROM A COMPANY WITH THE LAST FOUR DIGITS OF MY VISA #.  I RECENTLY MOVED OFFICES AND I HAVE NOT GIVEN MY PHONE NUMBER OUT TO ANYONE YET.  HOWEVER THEY HAVE THAT NUMBER.  I ASKED THEM HOW THEY GOT IT AND THEY SAID IT WAS IN THEIR DATA BASE WHICH IS RIDICULOUS.  THEY OFFERED ME A $50.00 WALMART CARD FOR BEING SUCH A GOOD CUSTOMER. I ASKED FOR PHONE NUMBERS TO CALL HIM BACK AND HE GAVE ME (877) 807-2392 AND (866) 904-3983 WHICH THEY CHARGE YOUR CREDIT CARD FOR MEDICAL SERVICES.  I TOLD THEM TO REMOVE MY NAME FROM THEIR LIST AND MAKE ME A DO NOT CALL PERSON.
SCARY.......

Hi, I was just wondering if you received anything from this company. I too gave them a prepaid visa # because it had less than $3 on it so I knew they could not take more. But when they wanted to verify my info I told them to forget it and that I did not want anything from them. They proceeded to call back at least 15 times in the next 3 days even though my husband and I both threatened to call the police (not that it would have done any good). Anyhow, I called my visa card to see if they did charge it anyway and of course they did. I was just curious if I would have received it either way. Now I am thinking about calling them and telling them to send it to me so at least they wouldn't pocket the entire $2 which they use for God knows what!! If you could reply to my message I left on this site, I would appreciate it. It is Kim from Ohio.

Thanks,
Kim

I received the call from "Direct Savings" promising me the same deal, $500 shopping spree and $60 gas rebate. At first they said they would just send me it, then said it was $2 S/H and what "plastic" did I want to put it on. I said I don't give that info over the phone and they said they would accept a prepaid visa, which I had one from a rebate that only had a $3 balance. After I gave them that, they wanted me to speak to the senior operator, and then a verification recording. I decided to hang up and they proceeded to call back several times(about 5-7 times) until I threatened to call the police  because I felt I was being harassed. Well they were not to threatened, because they called me back today wanting to know why I did not want this, I put my husband on the phone and he asked them to never call again, and yet they are pushing it with yet another call. My husband answered it and said he was calling the police and they hung up. They all sound very foreign and have names like Barry Jones and Mike Smith. If you receive a call like this, better to hang up right away. I am not sure who I should contact to file a complaint. I will try to contact the Att. General for Ohio like I seen another person on this site did.

Sketchville! They called me on July 22nd. The same deal $500 shopping spree and $60 gas rebate all for only $2 shipping and handling and giving them my credit card number so they can varify that I have one.

They sounded like an outsourcing call from India. They had 'american' names (Mike David) but judging from their accent, they're clearly not from Kansas.  WATCH OUT

Same thing as above.  I got the call with the promise of $500 and the gas card.  Times are tough so I did it.  Now I'm scared.

I too got called from this number - there was only one charge on my credit card that could have had the phone number they called. If anyone has had dealings with a FL company called LANDLOOP; they are the culprit- I filed a complaint with the NJ Attorny General and FTC - I will send same to the FL Atty Gen.

I received a call 6/27 from a Guy named Robbie Bates Employee #71325 With Direct Savings offering a $60 Gas card and $500 online shopping spree, all for $2 and my credit card #.  Said he was with Visa confirmed my full name and address.  I thought he was legit but was still unsure.  I confirmed my credit card # and during their verification process I decided to change my mind was not interested.  I received 4 calls from them trying to push me into their $2 sell.  I told them directly not to call me back and that I was beginning to feel harassed, they continued to call and told me that since he had my credit card number they could charge my credit card even after I told him was not interested.  Lesson learned never give out personal information on the phone.  They called me from three different phone numbers 408-543-1317, 408-543-1316, and 408-543-1324 the name on my caller ID is SSPL.

They called themselves Direct Savings, and offered a $60 gas card and a $500 shopping spree, all for $2.00 and your credit card number.

Spoke to "salesperson", senior supervisor Shawn 30053, and senior verification manager, Steve L.

"...I don't think so, Jim."

Caller ID was SYN 231-732-2509. Caller said they were Visa and offered me a free $60 gas card.  Sounded "iffy". Given 877-807-2392 as a  number to call with questions.
