we do not take money from people who do not owe, so you are terribly mistaken and giving people false information. you are obviously one those people who took out a payday loan and did not pay it back, and then you claim it was identity theft to try to get out of paying it, or say that you're checks were stolen, which it would be absolutely impossible to take out 1 of these loans in someone elses name. EVERYTHING is verified by our office through YOUR bank and also through an IP address for the computer used if it is an online loan theres also a wire transfer that can easily be tracked, they verify YOUR ssn#, YOUR job, YOUR references, and YOUR bank! So who's the terrorist? You people are the reason why every American is in an economic hardship right now and YOU are the reason that these companies have to keep raising their fees for the honest hard working people who actually need the help and then pay them back as they agree to because of you people who steal and cheat these companies out of their $$. They have to make up for their losses somehow

My brother has been getting this calls for the past two wks...they call my mom and I looking for him.. he got upset knowing in the past that he had gotten  a payday loan and was not for sure when he went through a divorce is his X wife may and gotten more without his knowledge.  Well anyway he did pay the first one Im thinking it was over $500. 00 and they still have not received any documentation on this.   So he gets another call saying his has more and he was starting to pay on the second one he had to set up a payment plan...but know we have made him stop pymt on this others because he has gotten so many of his calls.   does anyone know if he will be able to get his money back?  If so  please message me back.

We have a client that received threatening phone calls from 866-592-5271 about a debt she owed, or she would be sued within 4 days.  IT'S A SCAM!!  Do not pay these people any money, or give them any of your bank information!!!  We are reporting them to the AG's office, and so should you.

called my wifes cell said needed to have me or my legal rep to contact them right away. when called back got a automated thing that could not even acces the ext. number i was to call back she did not leave her name or a company name. why would they call my wifes cell and not mine?

I received a call from Kelly Daniels also.  She gave me a callback number of 877-809-2739 x1010 but the caller ID said she was calling from 678-341-5585, which is Cohen, Schwartz & Associates.Threatened to contact the DA.  Said they would file criminal and civil charges.  Can you send me something in writing? blah blah blah.

I just had a Agen John Marks call me stating I owe them 3200 and if I paid 253. that he would go away. That he was the last stop & he needed a answer by the end of the conversation or I was going to jail. He called my work number 6 times and harrassed my coworkers tremendously. This was very concerning & upsetting. These people are distasteful & DISGRACEFUL!!!

I am getting the same harassing calls from John Marks, for an online payday loan I already paid!  My question is can they really sue me and have me arrested for fraud??  Is this legal?  He is very threatening and says he doesn't have to provide me with any documents or letters cuz he isn't a collection agency.  My attorney wants all of his documents and he refuses to give it to me.  He have me 2 different names that I took this loAn out with bmg or Jpr group.  The only one I took out was with Namacan Capital.  And it was paid.  But he just keeps on.

July 27, 2011 - received message a few days ago stating that I was listed as a potential defendant in a legal action against or under my social security number. Due to my schedule and confusion as to why I would receive such a call, I just today had the opportunity to phone them number AFTER I RESEARCHED the NAME and REVERSE LOOKUP of the PHONE NUMBER.  The names JAMES HENRY (name left in the message) and JOHN MARK was name given when I did call today.  As soon as he said his name, I said what does your company do - he said "who is this?"  - I replied with "no, I asked you, what does not company do?  I have resarched Omega Group AND the telephone number on the web."  CLICK - he hung up.

People - please please be careful.  These are obviously very defiant, dishonest people.  All of us need to be viligent.

They use a router so that they cannot be traced.  They can be calling from anywhere.  I get calls from overseas - people from the Middle East that can hardly speak English.  This is a SCAM!  Report to Internet Crimes on the FBI website.  You probably applied for a payday loan online or they hacked your computer and got your information and they are trying to get your money.  Do not pay them!

They just called my work again. Not my personal cell phone. I told him I'd call him back and took down his number. Aiden Dennis is who called me. He told me he was unable to send me proof of the debt since it has gone "this far". I'm pretty sure that's my right?

Keep getting a message from work from this company, the rep's name that recently left me a message was John Marks, stating that I had until 3PM today to call him back or he would personally walk over to the county prosecutors office to hand deliver them my file....I am really pissed because they call repeatedly and leave rude messages and I cannot find no other information on them.  I do not know what they are talking about saying that I have committed Fraud, and that I need to clear this matter up immediately, but what the heck is it???  I am really pissed off and irritated.

A James Handy from the AMIGA GROUP called me about 7:30AM told me that this call is for a T. Buero, I am not sure on the name. They got the wrong number. I could hear other operators in the background The caller ID said it was a Georgia call from 678 685 9147

i just got a call today from omega group her name was faye robbins. saying i had to call he rigt back. i called her and told her to call my lawyer.

they called my job and left a message that I had only 24hrs to return the call or they will file court papers...every time they call for me they have a different number for the company..I wonder why?

Rec'd a call on my cell phone. There was a woman leaving the message, but when it came time to state my name and what not it became automated. They also called my mothers cell phone.

Needless to say after reading these comments here I will not be calling the number back.

Just yesterday I was contacted by a "law firm" regarding a loan with CMG. (Funny how some of these comments say they are calling about a loan with the same place.) I told the woman yesterday that I would be glad to pay any debt I owe as soon as I receive proof and validation of the debt physically in the mail. An email does not count. It is the law and your right to receive a validation of the debt in the mail before any payment is demanded.

This is ridiculous. So many scammers now and days.

When you first apply for an online loan your name goes out to hundreds of companies with the initial info you put in. Then a few of them actually contact you for the rest of the application process. I believe these bottom feeders just keep all the info and then wait to contact you. I have been getting calls from all over and they all have info from a job I had in 2008 and a bank account that was closed in 2008. To make it worse, they are now starting to access credit reports and call you trying to collect on debt that you may really owe, just not to them. Be very careful and don't pay anyone over the phone.

I recieved a call today from Omega,  They said that I was a possible defendant in a case involving a "Heather Armbruster".  I don't know anyone by that name and no people search will bring that name up near my home.  They didn't claim that I owed any money, but when my husband called them and told them that we don't have a clue who Heather is, they said they'd take our number off of their list.  He also informed them that we just cleared up a fraudulent collection account from "Jones, Myers, and Associates".  Google them for some real fun.  Also, Google 904-329-3042.

These people just called me this morning trying to intimidate me telling me some case is going to be filed against me and trying to get a statement as to whether I dispute these claims or not. Mind you- I am a teacher and am off for the summer, so this call woke me up. The information they had on me (address, etc.) was inaccurate and I had ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA what this supposed loan was that he was talking about. Suddenly I was wide awake and I requested that information be sent to me so that I could do my own investigation. He kept trying to get me to make a statement, so I shut the conversation down. I am too well educated and I know many lawyers so I know that this is not how the legal process works. We'll see if they try to call me back. Don't be intimidated. Make them send you something in writing. DO NOT give them your credit card or checking info. The way these people are operating is shady and not legal.

Some Brooke Astor just called wanting a $1000 payment for a $250 payday loan taken out a year ago.  I was told if I don't pay this within 15 minutes, I will be arrested and sent to jail for check fraud.  I didn't write a check....
