ARE ILLEGAL!   Everything about it is ILLEGAL.  THERE IS NO LOAN AT ALL - the reason for the upfront payments is to STEAL YOUR MONEY.  No refunds - nothing.  they also claim BAD CREDIT not a problem!

They prey on those who really need money and cannot afford to LOSE MONEY

The HUGE RED FLAG is the requirement to use Western Union or Money Gram - its the same as sending cash - once its gone its gone

go to ftc.gov  consumer protection - Look for Advance Fee Loan Scams and NUMEROUS other scams

Received a phone call last week from Alex Davidson, telling me that I qualified for a debt- consolidation loan. I was thrilled because I was way over my head in Payday loans. So I sent my entire paycheck to Abiola Wale in Spain, the person who is supposed to be financing my loan. On top of that, the senior account manager, a Gary Hamilton, called me over the weekend requesting an additional 781.90 because of my bad credit rating to secure the loan. Today when I tried to call them about the money, the phone just rings and rings. I feel like such a fool, but I really needed the money. Facing eviction cause I can't pay my rent; everything will be cut off in my house because I sent everything I had and borrowed to these people.

I have been conversing with a Scott Bradford at this phone number and this address.  They go by the name of Greenpath Lending Solutions which the real Greenpath Lending Solutions is based in Oregon and have told me they do not have an office in New York.  The Loan Agreement is signed by a David S. Logan CEO.  It appears in all ways to be a scam as I am told to send almost $1000.00 via Western Union. I firmly believe they will take my money and I will never hear from them again.  DO NOT GET SUCKED IN!!!!!

I was not as lucky as some of you. Skeptical...YES! But in need. So I went with it. I did fill out a loan application online so the call was not a shock. But, after they said I needed to western union the first 5 months in payments, A 5,000 dollar loan... I was struck by it. But I needed the money. So I did it. The next business day I received a call from a man at ext 709 saying he was the manger and there was a problem. They need another 5 months to secure the loan. I was gut wrenched. I pleaded with this man to tell me this was not a scam because I gave them almost everything I had. He assured me that the company providing the loan could not renege any further but did have the option to. So after a while, I trusted him enough to borrow the money form my mother off all people, and told her what I was told. the loan would be available the next business day and the company could not back out. One day later, received a call from the "manager", a Mr. Peterson, who  said that the company backed out, broke the contract, and Greenpath would pursue legal avenues to get my money back. Then it all hit me at once.... I googled and searched and discovered what I feared. They are a fraud. A complete scam. He sounded as if he was reading from a prepared statement when he told me I was not getting the loan. It was all too smooth.
BUT he found another lender willing to let me borrow 10,000 dollars....and of course, another Western Union transfer would be necessary.

That is when I grew angry, threw the word "embezzlement" around, and all the sudden, he had to "call me back". Still waiting for that call by the way....

Ask yourself this question if you would. If this company finds a lender willing to give you a loan, and you need to Western Union the money directly to that business, why would they not use a legit business name? Why make up random spanish sounding names to send the money to? And why, this is important people...why would they have access to the the money control number so that when you call it in to Greenpath.....they can see the money was sent. Remember, you did not send it to them!!! You sent it to spain!!! To a "3rd party business". But Greenpath has access to their western union money? but when you say i want my money back, they say "we do not have it. a company in Spain has it"......you do not need an awful lot of common sense to see this is a scam.

I fell for it and am out 1,600 dollars. Even more because the western union cost money itself to send. They were very slick. Very detailed. and came off as very professional. But this is in no way, shape, or form a legit business. I will copy my email and details for you as I did not have this Mr. Price as my first contact.

Western Union name was "Alejandra Cruz"
I was also urged if asked at western Union if I knew this "person" to say yes. I did....twice....

Here is the email. I also kept the loan agreement that was emailed to me to sign, scan, and return. And if you believe this company to be legit, PLEASE do some research. Do not make the stupid mistake I made! You will find many are duped by this kind of loan app. Simple rule of thumb....i legit lender will NEVER ask you for money in order to give you a loan. Any fees occurring from the loan are taken off the balance of the loan. NOT paid for in advance. Not paid by Western Union. And NOT sent to another country in a "persons" name.......

Congratulations on your approval. Please find attached your loan agreement for your review. Should you have any questions, please call me on the toll free number below.

To be honest i had a contract with Greenpath for a substantial amount of a loan.  I had to put a security payment because my credit is just horrible.  My agent gave me the payment instructions and i was a little concerned because i was sending the funds internationally.  I talked it over with my lawyer and found this website while doing some research.  It kind of scared me but i decided to pull the trigger anyways and sent the payment because my lawyer had said the contract was in good standing.  I received a call from my bank the next day and i suddenly my heart sank!  My banker had informed me that a pretty substantial transfer was on the way to my account and they just wanted to confirm with me that i was expecting a transfer.  WHEW!  I am so glad I went with my gut instinct on this one.  My agent was so helpful and professional,  I was afraid that I was insulting him by asking stupid questions about the loan and the company because I had read this website and it concerned me a little.  Thank you Greenpath,  I'm going to refer you to all my friends!

This is a scam!. I also did research after becoming suspicious of why I would need to send advance payments via Western Union to Spain and how did they receive my information in the first place. I found that they took a legitimate company, Greenpath Funding Solutions, and made a slight change that some might miss. They changed Funding to Lending and left out part of the address. I called Greenpath Funding Solutions and they are in no way associated with these fraudulent people.
Call the police and report them to the Better Business Bureau.

Here is the legitimate company they are trying to portray:
