Got a call from Sierra looking for 200 each 1x6x10 white pine... She wanted only white pine not spruce until I told her the price. Glad I looked it up.Got me once, NOT AGAIN.......

Got a call from a woman with a heavy Indian accent.  She called me last week and again today.  Says her company is in Kingston Mass but has a job in Baltimore.  Wanted a price on 2" iso board.  I could hear the noise of the call center behind her.  She said she was an estimator but had no idea about any of the material.  I gave her a very high number and maybe she will now leave us alone.  She gave 877-818-1370 as a call back number and when i called it,  it definately rings out of the country.  I recognize how it rings.  

Well they are still using this same number as a call back.  A guy with an Indian accent was looking for interior doors and steel frame doors and had no idea what he was talking about.  I called him out on it and told him that what he was working on wasnt right.  He said that his company name was RS Means.  

Got a message to call 877-818-1370 and ask for Mohana - looking for commercial carpet and VCT. My customers are local businesses that do not have toll free #s, so I looked it up and found this site. I won't be returning this call. Why would a contractor have a company located in India call for pricing? Nah, something just isn't right here.

I got the same call some weeks back. Got an order for some steel joists and decking but not from the guy who called me initially. These guys are estimators who are cost estimating projects. They will not buy anything from you but will pass on the info to the relevant job owner who in turn will get in touch with you. I had my doubts. But it worked out for me.

Just got a call from "Sierra" for 170 tempered glass insulated units - Indian accent, no company name, very pushy- decided to look up the number and found that "Sierra" has made other calls like this- of course won't waste another minute on it!

Called wanting prices on vct tile and commercial carpet.

Got a call from this number asking for 80 squares of metal decking and 45 tons of joists.  Thought it sounded fishy so I did the reverse number look up and it is a scam.  The guys name was Patrick and he did have a foreign accent.

I just got the same call for countertop 10' x 25" unfinished three edges and 1 1/4" thick.  Gave her a price but told her I would have to get an actual price if she wanted only 1 1/4" thick.  Left this number, name Shiny.

Reed callers asking for pricing on construction products is likely simply data mining for prices of materials around the country to publish construction price estimating guides.

Same number, indian accent, asking for 2-10'x25" laminate tops with square edge, no backsplash, no finished ends, in almond.  her question patterning matches with when i get phished or shopped (as in for surveys).  did not ask for order.

I have just received, 7/12/2013, a call from a block phone number asking for a price and to order 42 custom insulated units. When I ask some very important and specific questions needed for the material, he had no idea as to what I was speaking of and told he "Well that doesn't matter" What they are trying to do is pay with a credit card to access you account and then withdraw...steal from your account. Do not deal with these people! They will scam you!

Scam Called Liz back and did not know me after I researched for her on ceiling tile 3,000 sq. ft. Wanted cheaper pricing when i called back didn't want to know price. Didn't know me. Unusual.

Rdc? Got a call regarding some lumber items. Sounded strange at first but recently got a order from the same number. Picked up some framing lumber and CDX plywood.Worked out well for me. No complains.

I believe this is the first time that this company placed an order with us. And after getting several similar calls, they really took 200 sq yd of Shaw Carpet. Glad to know that this company truly exist.

Good company guys didnt find anything wrong.................had received a call way back didnt hear from them but recently called and placed a huge order took away the materials and they are all set for their project .................so i guess its not a scam wat say huh????????????????????????????

Got a call from this number  last month ..... and last week they placed an order for 200 pieces of float & insulated glass ...... thank god now confirmed that these r not scam .........

Some one called me from this # says her name is Shiley. she needed large amounts of glass. Thinking its a scam. Sounded foreign..

Received call from "Mohana" around 4pm asking for quote first on ten solid wood doors, then expanded to hollow metal frames, then to lock sets. When I asked for a job number or name she didn't have one. I asked for a ship to address she couldn't provide that either. Too fishy so I Googled the number, its out of northeast Atlanta, we are in Michigan. I'm not the only one that finds "Mohana" a bit fishy.

Received call from Mohana requesting price for 20 Hollow Metal Doors and Frames. She had an Indian accent and I could tell it was a scam. Since when does an estimator not know when a job is going out to bid. Had fun asking 20 questions until she got frustrated and hung up. I enjoy dicking with dumbasses who like to waste my time!!

They're Back!! Got the same call as above from Mohena, 20 Schlage locks, same phone #, this call to Wilmington, DE. At least they sound a little more intelligent than a Nigerian scam e-mail.

Asked for price on 20 lock sets.

Caller ID showed number as 1011-913-366-366-3435. Indian accent.
Asked for a call back number and was given 877-818-1370 and the name Mohana.
Said they would pick up the order at our location in Massachusetts.

Definitely a scam. I have received similar emails; they always ask to order large quantities and sound phishy.

Called & wanted price on 200 tons of 3/8" hot mix asphalt. They want to pickup in May sometime. Said they have a job in the area they need it for. I told them I need proof of insurance before trucks can enter my plant site. She said ok i can do that.

Received a call from "Yang" a female with a middle eastern accent requesting a quote on a large number of block, to be picked up not delivered.  Told me their company was out of state but they were doing a job in Anaheim Hills, CA.  The number that came up on my caller ID I believe was from out of the country, so I thought it was strange, told her I would call her back.  I believe this is not legitimate.

recieved a call from that number a man with a middle eastern accent named "bert" Gave pricing for 1200sf of unfinished red oak and 200sy of Mohawk 26oz commerical carpet. He said the price sounded great and he would be calling back with a conformation number to place an order. Very strange. Glad we googled the number.

I just received a phone call from someone called Sandy with a Middle Eastern accent. She wanted a price for material with no tax and delivery for 100 pcs 1/4 glass 36 x 48. She would not give me the location of the job site, when i asked for the name of the company she told me " Reed Business". I am please to know that i looked up the number before contacting them. BE AWARE!!!

Called checking on 4 1/4 X 4 1/4 white wall price. Manufactor didn't matter. I'm also glad I looked the number up before going thru the trouble.

mohana? called looking for 5000 8x8x16 concrete blocks, 25000 red face brick, and 300 bags type s mortar, phone number 877-818-1370 fax number 678-680-0898, sounds realy fishy, indian accent, called back ringer sounds funny like you are calling another county, wont answer the phone or they are not there and will call you back if you leave your phone number

Customer called wanting pricing on drop ceiling tile. I informed her that I had to get intouch with my vendor and if I could get her name and number I would call her back on pricing. Customer had a foreign accent and would only give a first name of Shiny. The called did not sound right so on a whim, I reversed looked up the phone number and came across all the complaints. I am glad I did.....
