My niece received a call at her home and her cell from 877.826.4603. A message was left saying they need to verify her address to give her papers regarding a claim that was filed against her this morning. Of course this frightened her, not knowing if she did anything wrong. The number goes back to a Brownstone Capital. I believe this some type of scam being played against my niece. Also the caller ID did not give out the caller's name. If this a legitimate debt collection of some kind, I would think more information would have been given out.

This Brownstone Capital Company called my wife at her job and cell and a couple of family members saying that she was going to be arrested for not giving them some $800 they say she owes.  Being a victim of this in the past she said, ok see you when you get here!  We submitted the info to the authorities but know little if anything will actually happen.  I called today to get the address to the place to send a cease and desist letter and was told we are forbidden from giving that out.  Would really like an address for them to give to the atty that we have going after them as well.

They were rude and gave out personal information without confirmation of identity. I am glad they are not handling my information.
