You should report them. I have had similiar calls myself one even stated they were from the local police department and they had a warrant against my license but the call was from California and I live in Kansas. Police sdo not call to issue warrants. they come and get you. There are legitimate payday loans online but I've only found 4. If you really need a loan I'd go to and actual payday loan store in our community or other loan company.

Hello, i just got a call from a Mr. Wilson at Milfield Financial, number is 1 800 378 9088, he got my number from a third party. Anyways I am approved for either a 10,000, or 25,000, dollar loan, which ever I want. He would like me to send by Westren Union a deposit of 595.00. My credit is very bad, and told him that, he said no problem still approved. Has anyone else heard of this company? He want on to say they have a office in Toronto, ON, and one in New York. If I decided to take this he wants me to send money to Ajax, ON, its near Toronto.

I also got contacted from them, after I got declined for a loan by a more "commonly known" lender.  They claimed that  I could get a small loan ($5k) for a collateral deposit of $800 I am trying to research myself... Can't seem to find anything on them.  How about the BBB?  I'm going there next.

I was looking around for a mortgage loan and this company contact me claiming that they recieved my info. through 3rd party. They had my address and name. I was told that I'm qualified for a mortgage loan and have to pay up front $2,000 due to my credit history. I looked onto their website and they have no contact info. But I insisted that he fax over info regarding the contract of the loan. I can say it looks very legit but I'm still in the process of doing more research of this company. SO far it looks more like a scam.

I was one the same way... they offered me 5k and said i had to send 600 in order to get my loan.. is this a scam? it made me nervous I didnt know if it was legit or not? Im still doing research too... there website doesnt seem very convincing

Basically they call me twice, once saying someone else's name.  I hung up.  The second time they wanted to speak to the owner of the phone.

Hello I had money taken from me by east rock lending but I never got my loan now the fax number 1-513-297-0536 is a normal phone number if you call it after 8:00 pm eastern time someone will answer.

dont do it i got the same call and what looked like a lagit contract sent them moneu westrn union and they never gave me my loan and there number is out of service now so dont do any thing with these people they pray off of hard workers the number they gave me its 877-779-5817 and Connie Stewart was the person who got me

My daughter had the same dealings with Bardley Lending Group.  They wanted $1,500.00 to guarantee her loan and an additional $797.65 for insurance, but loans never follow.  
When I did a quick check, I found this information (and more).

Mutual Trust Financials 877-779-5818.  they were answering thursday morning  but by thursday afternoon only bardly was still answering.  sounded just like david gibson's voice. i think these folks operate out of toronto or edmonton or ontario for one.  ny bbb has a file against them also.  iccr has been made aware of these numbers and names.  keep plugging at em.  sooner or later they can't hide.  david or emmanuel or charles or whatever ur real names are, i hope ur reading this and hope this pack of us who fell prey to u catch up to u in person at one time.  its coming.  i've just bout got it figured out.  got friends in the it and telecomm biz worldwide cuz that's the biz im in for past 25 yrs.  we're on our way criminals.  david gibson u r mine when i get to u, will be soon.  count on it.  gettin my money's worth n then some.  call me up if u got the balls u scumbag.  u got my number puss.

I also got a call from eastrock lending and his name is Charles Reid told me that if I send 1350 westearn union that I can get the loan for 7000 and my payments would be 135.00 a month starting 10/01/2110 I would like to know more on this.

I received a call from Emmanuel Lewis from Eastrock Lending Services on Oct 21.

I'd been lookinhg on-line for some money.  He said I had been approved for a secured loan of $10,000.00.  the security for the loan would be the first 6 months payments of $197.54=$1580.32.  I was to wire the money via Western Union and I would have my funds within 24-48 hours,

The Cincinnati BBB has no complaints on this co. but has still given it a rating of F.  They strongly advised against doing business with them as this type of business is typically a scam.  There is no business by that name at the address they list.  They will not answer or take calls from the BBB.

I have called Mr. Lewis at the number listed(1-877-779-5815 ext 486) and he has returned my call.  It all sounds so legit over the phone and also their contract which he faxed to me.  Fax was from Toronto, On

Luckily I did not sign contract nor did I send them any money.

I also got a call from EastRock Lending Services on oct 26, 2009 and they told me the I was  approved for 5,000 and I need to send 813.60 for to cover the frist 8 months of the losn. so they fax me the loan agreement. and said I had 7 days to do westen union or the loan was know good. so something told me to get on my laptop and look them up and they are lier.and the phone no is 1877-779-5815 ext 591 fax no 1-513-297-0536 and the want to be loan officer is scott peters EastRock did not get my money if you get any loan from a lender or a bank there such not be any money down at   all.

i was searching the web the other day and was trying to get a loan company to approve me for a loan and this company poped up on the screen from a link and i called them to see what east rock lending services was so i was talking to the people about a student loan and they made it sound so easy to get this loan and that i just needed to send them 2,516.00 and that would cover my first payments for a 30,000 loan and it seemed very intersting to me but i took it to a bank and they said that any reputable lending company would not give you a secured loan for 30,000 dollars with out having some kind of collateral and the loan officer said that another thing they forgot to make the loan real is a fed box which is a box that has your loans numbers in it for your interest rates and you payment plan they did somehow get the payment rates just not a fixed interest rates and the loan officer told me to do research on these people and i did and found all you guys who did or didnt fall for the scam. but im really glad that i looked up you guys and checked on this bc me and my family was bout to do this loan and i m very sry that some of you fell for the scam but i will do my best to help yall atch these people by trying to le tthe government know bout this scam but just make sure you do lots of research on things before you take that chance
