Just following up on my initial report. I've been stringed along for 5 weeks now waiting for my supposed refund. When I called again today I was told to wait another 2 weeks because their bank was having processing problems. I finally got it out of them that their bank is in NEW ZEALAND and that they themselves were in NEW ZEALAND. This company is a complete fraud. If you happen to get caught in their snare don't bother wasting any time with their call center reps. They're just going to keep telling you to wait for your money. Go right to your financial institution and submit a fraud claim. A pain in the a**, but better than wasting your time for a refund that will never show up. Also, if you wait too long to make the claim with your institution, you may forfeit your right to do so and be out the money in the end. Don't wait.

A fraudulent bank draft went through my checking account.  I notified PNC and they would send me (in 7-10 days) an affidavit to sign to sign stating this charge was fraudulent.  Seven days had passed and I still had not received anything from PNC and was really agitated every time I saw that $29.95 draft against my account so I decided to call 877-830-9381, Billing Solutions LTD.  The rep. said this was a recurring monthly charge for Web World an adult website.  When I informed her this was not an authorized charge, she indicated this has happened to other people with fraudulent bank account charges from Web World.  She cancelled the fraudulent order and said the $29.95 would be credited to my bank account in 3-5 days.  It took only 3 days for the money to be returned to my account.

Same happened to me -- just saw this "check" for $29.95 to Web World when I went online to look at my checking account.  I called the number today and talked to a live person, who told me it was for a monthly subscription to an "adult website."  I informed him I had ordered no such thing.  He said they would credit my account and remove all billing information, but I think I will call my bank as well.

There was a check issued on my account to them for $29.95 as well.  It was issued in my maiden name with my routing # and checking #.  The only place that has (had) my banking info in my maiden name was paypal.  I logged into paypal and deleted all my banking information since I rarely use it anymore.  My bank has credited my account for the unauthorized charge.

I am so very angry over this. I try to check my account every day and today there was a check from them for $29.95. That number was discontinued pretty fast. This scam is a getting them a healthy amount of money. I closed my account also and hope that everyone who has had this happen to them does the same.

Seems the phone number is no longer working.  It has been a week since the promised refund, but since it is obviously not coming, I plan to take further action through my bank.  They were already notified of the fraudulent nature of the transaction.  I also had a hit on my debit card a week after the electronic draft from Web World.  Definitely closing the account.  The only thing I did recently was get a "Red Card" through Target.

I received two charges on March 27th and 29th to my account. One was for Web World and one was for World Entertainment.  I called the bank and am very concerned about this now. I pay my mortgage and utilities online.

Same happened to my account about 1 week ago. I'm curious, have any of you ever been affiliated with the now defunct Zeekrewards scam or bluebirdbids or recently used any of the ewallet services available online nowadays? Already changed account, but just thinking that there must be a common link. BTW- I still haven't received the promised refund and don't expect to! :(

The same thing happened to me. I was told the same thing, It hasn't happened yet. I plan to close my current account so they can't continue to make monthly withdrawals even though I was told by Billing Solutions that there would be no further withdrawals. I'm not taking any chances.

My bank was drafted by Web World for an unauthorized purchase.  Really very suspicious as they had my name and banking information.  They are supposed to credit my acct for the unauthorized purchase.

Yup - +1 for an electronic check clearing our account for $29.95. The company that initiated the transaction is apparently an adult website called WebWorld. The 877 phone number that appeared on the check is for a company called Billing Support, which is the company that submits the transaction on WebWorld's behalf. WebWorld supplied Billing Support our account information and Billing Support takes that information, verifies that it belongs to a valid checking account, then submits the charge. The representative at Billing Support submitted a refund request which I'm supposed to see in back in our 3-5 business days. It's very concerning that WebWorld got a hold of my checking account info. I'll be closing the account after the refund is received.

I received the same thing drafted against my checking account for $29.95.  It was paid to the order of Web World and had a very long account number on it.  It even said 30-day money back guarantee!!

There was an unauthorized check withdrawal for $29.95 that showed up on my bank statement.  I called this number because it was listed as "Web World" contact number.  They said that I would receive a refund in 3-5 days.  I called the bank also, and we are waiting to see if "Web World" actually refunds the money.  I don't pay bills from my checking account, so I have no idea how they got my checking account number.

This phone number was on a fraudulent check withdrawn from my bank account.  Apparently Web World submits check withdrawals from check accounts submitting your account and routing number.  Real sumbags!  The check was for $29.95 to Web World.  My bank's fraud department is handling this.

This group seems very iffy.  They claim to be Bill Support operated by Billing Solutions out of the British Virgin Islands for some company called Web World.  I would even answer their call and I sure wouldn't give them any account information.
