This number keeps calling my business line that is in my house despite being registered.  Never anyone on the phone when I answer.  I personally can't wait till the election in November is over because I am sick of these calls on my house, business and cell phone up to 15 times a day.  Wonder if some attorney would do a class action for annoyance, stress, etc...

Caller ID said 'UNAVAILABLE' and the number.  I never answer calls from 800 Service, Unavailable, or other caller ID readouts from people or numbers I do not recognize.  Being on the National Do Not Call list is wasted effort and will not block calls of this type.  I just let it ring -- sometimes as many as 20 rings before they give up.

This number cannot be blocked with my services' block. I do not know why. Must be some type of scam. A blocked call back stated it was the American Action Network.

2:43pm 4JUN2012 got call from 866-652-3145 on my non-published landline that is registered on the FTC 'Do-Not-Call' list. Caller ID displayed 'TOLL FREE'. No voice message left on answering machine. SOP at this house is to let all calls go to answering machine. We can choose to return calls to only those who leave a proper voice message.

Got a call from this number saying "Unknown Name"  No other info.  Some people or companies must have nothing to do but bother others.  Have a great day....

Possible helpful tip:  Comcast is my land line (typically gets all these dreaded scam/telemarketing calls) provider and I do use the 'call screening' feature (*60).  I'm able to store up to 12 annoying numbers and the caller (scammer) will receive an announcement that I am not accepting calls.  They continue to call (but my phone does not ring) and will eventually give up.  It sure is nice and quiet. : )  Look into this feature with your phone company.  I know all this nonsense really stinks but I sure do appreciate how we are looking out for one another.  Any other suggestions are always appreciated.

It is the American Action Network.  They are exempt from the no-call list.

Like many other similar organizations, their activities will increase as we get closer to November's elections.  Get used to it - better yet, just get an answering machine and let it take care of it.  They almost never leave a message.

I HATE OBAMACARE almost as much as I hate getting calls that are unsolicited!

I am glad to know it was about protesting Obamacare because I HATE THAT, BUT, I am on a no call list and I hate that companies as well as political crappers can get around that.

Got a cut off robo-call message on my work voicemail  with just the phone number being said and nothing else.  The call also came up as "unknown number" so they are blocking it.  Yet another stupid scammer/telemarketer/ whatever....I grow so weary of all these a***s.

This telephone number has called my home for over one year. And I was told the same thing when I called the number back and requested that they stop calling my home. But I do not believe that this woman's number has been hijacked by a scammer because one year is adequate time to have it resolved with the phone company if it were so. ~ One of the earliest calls I recieved from this telephone number was placed by this same woman, it was her voice that called me, and who was asking me personal information in a very insistant tone. This individual, should NOT have access to the use of a toll free number for her personal use.

I just called this number back and the lady I spoke with is trying to straighten this out with Verizon.   Her number has been hijacked by a scammer and she's getting over 100 calls a day.  I wished her luck!
