keep receiving calls about a serious banking matter.  Call comes in from a different number but tells you to call this number.  

My mom just sent me a text that she received a call on her landline today for me to call 877-834-3281 that it has something to do with a bank transaction and that I need to call them. First off I dont even know my moms landline number because it is new and she doesnt use it! It is only there for her internet so how could someone call her to find me regarding a bank transaction. I have been a victim on fraud before for believing that I owed a payday loan company from a loan I got back in 2005, I couldnt recall if I did have a delinquent account so Ipaid them $500 since I am trying to clear my credit and buy a house. Then a few months ago I get another call from a similar comapany saying the same thing. I'll be damned if I am going to fall for the okie doke again! I called this 877 number I listed above back and low and behold its a recording!! Now you tell me what company sends you to a recording when you owe them money! I'm calling BS! please dont be dooped like I have been before!!

this is the unlisted number i receiver yet another phone call from.  this time it was more threatening. it would be in my best interest to chose option #1 to talk to next available operator. i have a serious issue with my bank account that needs to be taken care of or could cause me future problems

these people are persistant  answered phone and said it would be in my best interest to hit option "1" that there are problems with my bank account and this would cause me further problems.

Please do file reports with the FBI, your state attorney general and Department Of Justice,CFB,FTC & FCC..

received the same threatening message.  Seems like they are on a roll.  Even left a reference number.  Sounds like a scam.
The number was connected to a local number near Munster Indiana.  Who do we report this to?

A message was left on my cell stating that I need to call back as soon as I received this message.  The issue is a serious  banking matter that could affect my accounts in the future, even left a reference number.

They called from a (spoofed) local cell phone number that I didn't catch. Left this number as a call back on an automated, robo call.  Said it was a serious banking matter that could affect my bank account in the future.

Collection scam. Don't fall for it. When they theaten "legal action", "criminal penalties" etc for old payday loans etc. they are the ones breaking the law--report them to the Federal Trade Commission. Hang up--do not pay anything. If you pay anything the scammers stay in business.

Same call, same message, same outcome.

They called my parents looking for my husband???!!!!! Really? And so not knowing anything about this I called them back and the lady was very rude stating that I was not the person they were looking for and that he needed to call them. Then she proceeded to tell me that it had to be delt with that they were going to sue him. But they wanted to settle out of court....?!

So my parents get a call, looking for my husband?! Are you kidding me?! They will stoop to every level. Saying he has bounced a check and that he will be sued...really?! When I was on the phone with her she stated it was some legal matter with a legal service company. But I just called back because I forgot what there name was and he gave me a different name....

Just got a call from 877-834-3281 today, Wednesday, 1/8/2014 and left a message for me to call 888-877-1001 immediately regarding a check that had been returned by my Bank.  Stated if I ignore the message that further legal action would be taken and I would be served with papers.  I thought they had to serve you by either a process server or certfied mail.  They are violating unfair debt collection practices.

I got a call stating, "there is an important legal matter regarding a bank transaction from my bank account. to be connected press "1".

The call was transferred to a woman. she sounded as if she was in a public place (background noise)
The woman asked me what number they had dialed.My response was, "I missed a call from this number, could you tell me which number you were trying to reach?"

The woman was very frustrated, "Oh my god!, call us back when you know your phone number!!!"
(Call dropped)
My reply, "I'm not a fan of scam artist"

I received a recorded message call saying an item returned from my bank, also. I called the number and spoke with a man and told him it wasn't me they were looking for and to not call my phone again!!!!! He insisted it was me and that I was going to be served and legal proceedings were going to be started against me. He asked for my social security number which I did not give him. He said the last 4 digits of a number and I told him NO NO NO DO NOT CALL MY PHONE AGAIN!!!!!!!
How can they get away with this harassment????

This # called left message important to call back in regard to a relative. When I called back would not give me any info because i was not relative they hung up in my face.I Called back and disputed the charge for and they said it was settled.   Called back couple of days later to see if they would verify settled.  They said they got in touch with the relative. I knew they had not. Told the lady she needs to check in to the company she is working for.

Have received numerous calls stating I owed money from 2009. And I need to pay to avoid legal proceedings.  But they can't send anything in writing.

Received a message saying that their was something wrong with my bank account .  And it is...it's empty.  lol.  This is a scam.  Took voice mail off my phone so they can keep calling till they drop.

I recieved a message from this number stating there was a problem with my bank acct. and left a number to call to avoid legal procedings. I called my bank and there is no problem with my acct. She listened to the message and said it doesn't sound like a valid call and that there is nothing wrong with my acct.  

877-834-3281 -- just received a call from that number saying if I didn't respond I would be in legal trouble.  Tried calling but no response.

I received a recorded message that I had a item returned from my Bank and that if I did not push a number to talk to a represenative I would be served with legal papers.  I did not call them back. They are using improper attempts to collect any kind of debt when they make threats per the Fair Debt Collection laws in the US.

I got a call from William Miller- that I had taken out a payday loan.  They were ging to serve me with a warrant, since I had defrauded the company of their money.  I asked them to send me the information as the bank account was incorrect the money was transfered to.  I told the lady- very nice- about the fact that I had no loan or knowledge of this loan. I proceeded to ask her about the Company- Allied Mediation which is based in outhern California- did not now the comapany address.  She seemed shocked that I did a google search while on the phone with her, told her I need her company information to be sent with the paperwork she was sending so I can forward this on to the State Attorney General.  This seems to be a clear scam.  Good luck if they call you, ask for company information and put them on the defensive.

Some guy looking for someone keeps calling from a blocked number saying that he's going to serve me and has a verified address. I don't know who he's looking for but I told him to come on and watch who gets served with a harassment suit! It's a scam and it should be a law against harassing people just because they have a number you have listed in error. Geez!
