These A-Holes call every day of the week. I normally let the voice mail pick up the call, but they never leave a message. Then I found out it some bank trying to collect on credit cards. So I decided to answer the phone. I answered and pretended to speak Cambodian. The caller did not say anything for the first few seconds as I repeated my fake Cambodian speech. Then I heard someone breath in and exhale and say, "whatever." Then he asked for someone who is not associated with my home phone line. I just continued to babel out my fake Cambodian, followed by him hanging up. F**K this assshole and the bank he works for. I refuse to assist them in any way in collecting money from anyone. My wife offered to answer in Spanish to jerk them around, but they might have a Spanish speaker on staff, but I doubt a Cambodian speaker.

These SOB's called twice on 4-3-2014 and twice on 4-4-2014. Only the # shows on the caller ID and I never-ever answer my phone without a name and a phone number displayed. They never leave a message either, only letting the phone ring 3 to 4 times and then disconnecting before my voice mail can answer. Too tell the truth, even if I do see a name and number displayed on my caller ID, I still might decline to answer the phone. Ever since the banks jacked up interest rates and cut credit limits in half, I have refused to use any credit cards and my credit score was near 800. They can all go F**K themselves! Infract when I get there BS credit card offers in the mail with such wonderful rates as 29.9% I send it back to them with a very lengthy go F**K yourself letter.  

This is day 2 of receiving phone calls from this number. 4-3/4-4 2014. They called back to back on the 3rd and once on the 4th. As soon as my answering machine is picking up the call they disconnect. I never answer any number I do not recognize, no matter what. If your call to me is so important then leave a message and I will decide if I think you are worthy of a call back. In the mean time go F**K your self!

I also get these phone call they call as late as 8:03 PM and 8: AM the calls are not for me. I like to sue them for harassment anyway of blocking these.??????????????????

calls asking for personal information

Merrick Bank. I forgot to make my credit card payment so they called me. When they called, I didn't recognize the number so I let it go to voice mail.   Oops. When I called back to make my payment, the lady said they service several credit card companies besides Merrick.

If it is a bank about a credit card payment then they should not be calling me i have no credit cards. Yet they call all the time.  I do not answer any calls that i do not know the number. Yet they still try.  I have turned in numerous numbers and the Do Not Call list is a big joke.

The phone number 877-847-0125 belongs to Merrick Bank.  If you're late or have missed a payment, they will call you multiple times per day.  Their bank has a computer auto-dialer set-up, which means that as soon as payment is in question, your number will be shuffle into the auto-dialer, which will periodically ring you throughout the day, everyday, until you take care of the payment.  No one is on the other end of the line - it's set up so that you'll eventually get tired of the calls and call MB back so they can speak with you.  

If you're set up on a payment plan, have scheduled a payment, etc - you need to call them and have your number taken off the auto-dialer list, otherwise, it will keep ringing you.

I downloaded the app "Call Control" to my smart phone and for $7 (one-time fee) my phone blocks multiple numbers. I am not with the company, but this app is great!!!

I just received a new cell phone and number less than 24 hours ago this number 877-547-0125 keeps calling  and leaving voice messages I have told them to quit calling as it is a wrong number. This is costing me minutes as I have a limited amount as I do not typically use cell phones I am a cancer patient and need this for emergencies only. I want them to stop calling now.

keep getting this call never answered, simply don't bother myself.

Just add this number to the "Block list" on your phone.

They call at least 6 times per day at all hours.  No one on the other end of call.

Maybe you should call the FCC or whomever is called for calls like this.  It is an inconvenience for you and since they state they do not have the person in question working there wouldn't that constitute fraud? You could cite them on that!

I'm with you! I was irritated when I picked up and it said that it "had an important call for someone at this number".  If it is so all fired important why are they not ON THE LINE when I pick it up.  I'm not wasting my time waiting for them to back to me in their rotation.

they call 5-8 times a day...I too have 0 credit cards 0 bank accounts ..yet they keep callin callin callin...I just don't answer the phone...and they leave no message..still annoying

Y r u so mean. Just because u have had no hardship maybe you should so that u can get some perspective on what millions of people are going through when a number comes up and they are to unsure to answer.  I wush nothing but ill will on you do***e bag!!

I received a call from this # today, no message was left. I have never heard of Merrick Bank before and most definitely have no accounts or outstanding debt with them, past or present. This is one of the benefits of choosing not to use credit at all...always knowing that they have the wrong # when they start calling!

PLEASE HAVE THEM STOP CALLING ME i AM IN THE HOSPITAL AND MY GRANDSON IS taking care of the bills and made the payment . I explained to them that I was in the hospital   Please stop so I can get well.

For some reason,.  I dont believe the Do Not call List thing even works,  only because I keep getting calls from these kind of people every single day including Sunday and this has been going on for Years,  pretty much non-stop,  Really getting tired of it seriously......

This company has been calling me for years,  just for today.  in the last half hour,  they have called with the same number 3 or 4 times,  once every 5 or 10 minutes....
